Again the character growth is substantial and the central relationship moves into unexpected territory. As with the rest of this series, the writing is excellent with a refreshing depth of perception, and the only flaw is the insufficient copy editing. Once again that alone stops this being 5 stars.
The book provides a satisfying ending to the series.
I recommend this series, but only if copy errors don't drive you crazy.
Other than that though, awesome! I loved this whole trilogy. Truly excellent story.
I would have liked there to be a few more happy times with Vera and Roman. The romance between them is one of the things that makes this series so exciting. They are a dynamic team and their relationship is constantly being tested. I also think that Roman played too much of the second fiddle in this story. He could have shined a bit more.
I am looking forward to more books by Sarah K.L. Wilson. She's a great story-teller.

I received a free digital copy of this book for my honest review.
Highly recommended, so long as read in sequence. Enough that I give it five stars (in the presumption that it will be read after the other two).
