Product Description

Amazon.com

It’s important to note for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans that this is a stand-alone board game, not part of the main Yu-Gi-Oh! card collecting and dueling game. The rules are simple, but there are enough interesting twists to keep it interesting and fresh, with lots of room for strategy. Players--whose goal it is to quest for a magical pyramid--assume one of four characters, with each character represented by a game token and a card reader. The card reader is the most interesting aspect of the game, as it makes the value of each card vary by character; making your choice of character a matter of tactics more than which one you think looks the coolest. The game pieces all have nice detail, especially the character tokens that are detailed down to the level of facial expression. If the flimsiness of the game board makes it less than heirloom quality, that’s a small flaw in an otherwise fun and well-thought out game.--David Stoesz

From the Manufacturer

The first player to assemble the 3D Millennium Puzzle, wins! This game offers kids three different play patterns: Dice: Rolling the dice determines the player's fate. Rock/Paper/Scissors: A quick-thinking childhood game. War: A dueling card game. Each monster slider carries a different level of power which can be revealed by the game board's Slider Reader. The trap spaces enhance the random excitement of the game. Comes a 3D Millennium Puzzle which snaps together for the winner of the game.
