UNO has a new best friend, DOS! In this fun card game, two is more important than one, and number matching is king! Just like UNO, DOS involves a race to be the first to get rid of your cards. To start, there are two discard piles between the players. On each player's turn they can discard on either pile with either one or two cards, so if a player has two cards that add up to the number of a card in the center pile, they are able to put down BOTH cards. When you're down to two cards, don't forget to yell "DOS!" The first person to 200 points is the winner! The game includes a 112-card deck plus instructions. For 2 to 4 players. Ages 7 and older. Colors and decorations may vary.

Comes In a nice metal tin, slightly confusing for young ones initially. No a good game to play with people with eidetic or photographic memories as they can see the reverse side of your cards which become your hand when the flip card is played

Great variation of the classic Uno game. It may be my favorite variant. It was given as a Christmas present and the tin makes a nice gift presentation. The game is as easy as Classic Uno to learn, though we did have to keep the instructions available to double-check some of the newer symbols for the first few rounds. The game pace is fun and resulted in the usual groans and more than a few cries of “nooooooo!”

The cards are sturdy and the tin is attractive and makes a great storage box.

I definitely recommend adding this to your game night arsenal!

UNO Flip is a fun fast paced game that adds a nice twist the original UNO. The gameplay is essentially the same as UNO - match cards according to color or number, and try to rid yourself of all the cards before everyone else. The one twist on this game is that there is a "flip" card that essentially flips the entire deck to "the dark side". The penalties with the dark side are greater than the normal "light side" and because all the card colors and numbers have flipped, the person who originally had the least amount of cards may find themselves with a batch of unmatching cards that will result in them having to draw even more cards to play. It's a fun and fast game to play, and like the original UNO, is a great game to play with younger audiences to teach colors and numbers. All of the actionable cards are in completely symbol form, so young audiences should be able to catch on quickly. This was a fun game for our tweens to play with us, and even more fun when played with larger groups (up to 10 players). It's a fun game to take on the go and one of our favorite games to play when we have only a few minutes to spare on busy evenings.

Fun for the family!

It all started one day when I was playing UNO on my PlayStation 4 and decided to finally give UNO Flip a try, as it came bundled with regular UNO, but I didn't want to try it as it didn't look appealing at first. Goodness, I should have started playing this sooner. It's just like normal UNO in terms of rules, but now there are two sides: Light Side and Dark Side. The Light Side is the standard UNO deck, save for a few changes (Draw Two is now Draw One and Draw Four Wild is now Dark Two Wild). They made the Light Side have negligible penalties, and that's because the Dark Side has much more stiffer penalties. In addition to the normal Wild and Reverse action cards, the Dark Side also has a Draw Five (!!!!) card, a card that skips every opponent's turn, and a variation of the normal Draw Four Wild in which your must keep drawing cards until you get the color that the person asked for. So if they want purple (the Dark Side colors are Purple, Pink, Orange, and Teal), you must keep drawing from the deck until you get purple, even if you have to draw 15+ cards!

So yeah, the best strategy for this game is to try to stay on the Light Side if at all possible, and flip over to the Dark Side if you have good cards that you can use on your opponents, like the Draw Five and Skip All. If you have a bunch of cards (10+), then it can be pretty fun to spam the Skip All card if you have a lot of them.

This game is much more tolerable playing the actual physical game. I say that because the UNO Flip that's on PS4 and PC has a rule called Stacking, that can turn this game into absolute torture. I won't get into what that rule means as that's getting off-topic, but anyone who has played that game knows what I'm talking about (when +5 becomes a +20 and it goes to you) >:(

If you want something to keep you occupied during the pandemic that is fun for the whole family, I highly recommend getting this. If you've never played UNO before, I suggest started with the regular game, as UNO Flip is slightly more advanced.

Complicated Instructions

I got everything I was supposed to, the tin is nice, the cards are similar to Uno. However... the instructions are confusing and not clearly mapped. The object of the game is to be the first to get rid of all the cards. There are two piles, that can be expanded later, and you don't have to make an exact number match. If there is a 5 in the center but you don't have a 5, you can put down a 2 and a 3 or 1 and 4 and it'll be considered a match.I feel like the company that created Uno wanted to get more money so they half-massed a plan, made up confusing new rules, and put it in a nice tin. I do not recommend.

My family loves this... It's honestly the only way I'll ever play UNO from now on. Mine and my GF's family made a drinking game out of it... someone flips the deck and "SHOTSS!!" So I recommend trying that :P

You can't really run into too many problems with "who shuffled?!" because it's not even like two red 3's are both the same on the other side. Each time you shuffle and deal out the cards... flip the decks, etc... it's keeps everything mixed so it's incredibly fun. I'd also recommend buying another standard deck of UNO flipz, because this metal tin case fits 2 full decks when you take the black plastic piece that holds the cards inside.

Wonderful twist to good ole Uno

I bought this game for my ten year old son. He loves it! Uno is just a fun game to begin with, and this version just gives it a little twist that makes it more fun! The game plays like regualr uno, but there are two sides to the cards and the deck has special flip cards. The flip cards cause you to flip your hand, discard pile and draw pile. The "dark" side has different colors than your regualr standard uno and some unique cards like draw 5. Like regualr Uno, some games last seconds and others we flip the deck bak and forth several times before we are finished.

Si bien es un sucesor directo de UNO, este cuenta (aun) con muy pocas mecánicas en comparación, pero este puede ir cambiando en función del éxito que tenga en el mercado como lo hizo su antecesor.

En la actualidad es un juego muy simple, pero que cumple su función en entretener a una gran cantidad de jugadores. algunas de sus mecánicas son un tanto extrañas cuando se está muy acostumbrado a UNO, pero son muy sencillas de aprender, lo que permite integrar casi a cualquier miembro de la familia y/o amigos rápidamente. Sus mecánicas son menos agresivas que las de su antecesor (por el momento) e implican jugar con más astucia ya que de esto puede depender el asegurar la victoria o el impedir que tus adversarios ganen.

En ocasiones se puede sentir que el balance del juego llega a ser injusto, ya que el que inicia una ronda no tiene posibilidad de ganar en esa misma ronda mientras que los que le siguen, con suerte y astucia, pueden ganar en su primer turno. Junto con lo anterior, se puede implicar que cada ronda puede durar un minuto o menos o extenderse a varias decenas de minutos.

Si bien la caja lo sugiere para 4 jugadores, la cantidad de cartas que tiene permiten fácilmente hasta a 8 jugadores y se puede aumentar con más barajas del mismo tipo.

La presentación en caja de hojalata facilita bastante el guardado de las cartas (y por lo tanto su preservación), además de que es elegante y resistente. Por algún extraño motivo esta presentación es (o era) más económica que su presentación en caja de cartón, por lo que es recomendable aprovechar la diferencia.

Este es un juego que vale la pena adquirir para complementar la ludoteca, pero si estas decidiendo entre adquirir este juego o UNO, en cuestión de precio y complejidad es por mucho mejor UNO.

Como el hijo del borrachaso. No lo esperabas pero ya esta aqui. Dos, juego rapido que puede llamarce familiar o party. Como todo segundo hijo no tiene la capacidad chi... digo. No molesta tanto como su hermano mayor. Pero no por eso es mas facil ganarlo. Usando un sistema simple pero interesante de dos columnas y. Algunos combos. Se puede explicar casi a la par que se juega y se hacen eso 200 puntos para la victoria.
Al ser una lata pudieron poner un plumon de agua para apuntar las puntuaciones en la tapa o al menos un cadernito.
La lata es genial tiene un acabado muy limpio y bonito puso ser mas pequeña al estilo Hanabi o sushi go. pero no hay tanto problema.

La verdad me decepcionó el juego, pensé que estaría tan bueno y competitivo como el UNO pero la realidad es que este se queda lejos de ser igual de entretenido, en especial por qué con el otro uno puede hacer más maniobras y estrategia para hacer a los demás comer cartas o frustrarles el juego.

El paquete en si vino en buenas condiciones, independientemente de eso, el juego en si es algo confuso, la jugabilidad con un grupo grande de personas puede llegar a ser tedioso y frustrante pero eso queda en consideración de cada quien, el material es muy bueno y las cartas son rígidas pero flexibles a la vez.
El empaque en caja de metal siempre da un plus aunque algo estorboso para llevarlo a reuniones o fiestas.
