So much fun - especially after a few cocktails. We don't always play by the rules and will sometimes just read cards off because it is so funny. We have owned this game for years and although we don't play every weekend, or every month for that matter, no one seems to remember the "answers" - they provide ample phrases so memorization is not a problem. I mention this because in one of my favorite games, Taboo, this became a major issue. I remembered the Taboo key words and could figure it out almost immediately.. it was like I was cheating!! Mad Gab is a great game and we haven't outgrown it. We always have fun - it's amusing to listen to the gibberish even if you aren't involved in the game. Fun for everyone.. we played this with a group of 15 on Christmas this year and I once played during a blizzard stuck at work. Laughs all around every time.

This is a fun party game. I suggest having at least 4 people on a team when possible. That give three to guess at a time. Some of the statements are hard, so extra team members to guess.

It is funny to play, listening to others talk in gibberish, sometimes unaware of what it sounds like they are really saying.

Seems simple in concept, but it's hard. Very very fun though. The most fun is playing as a team and knowing the answer while your partner is sounding out the gibberish. You can hear the correct phrase but they just...can't...get...it. It is fun, maybe geared towrds 12 and up although my 10 year old does ok. Sometimes there are phrases, idioms, colloquialisms, etc. that they are not very familiar with. But it is laugh out loud funny.

Fun game....get's old shortly but it's fun! You have to read the phrase as it sounds not as it is spelled. For example...."how are you" would be written
"howwer ewe". Your partner has to guess what you are saying.

I've played this game MANY times with friends, and it's always a good time. The basic premise is teams have decipher groups of unrelated words into real phrases before time runs out, which can lead to funny guesses and puzzled faces.
This is one of those games that can get LOUD because everyone is basically putting sounds together until they make sense as a phrase. This is definitely a favorite at our game nights. And the more the merrier!

I love love love the game, but now it comes with fewer cards than ever! I don't really care about the timer. Huge box, but small amount of cards to play with. The answers to the reverse side are in plain site. They are trying to cram four cards into one card to save space, and it's just tacky, and not what I expected after owning the old version.
