My son begged for a wrecking ball toy and this has been a HUGE disappointment. The wrecking ball is too light to knock over any of his blocks. It will however knock over an empty toilet paper tube if aimed correctly. I wanted to buy the Mega Rig Construction set (with a wrecking baall from Mattel, but the few left on the internet are over $150. He loves his Mega Rig Matchbox Shuttle Mission (space shuttle) and plays with it constantly. Mattel needs to make more Mega Rig toys, which are more fun as kids can build many different vehicles with it. I did find the MATCHBOX® MEGA RIG® Wrecking Squad Building System Item #: R4349 on Mattel's website for $14.99. The price seems right, but I'm wondering if it would knock down more than a toilet paper tube. For $15, I may try this one out, as my son will have fun building other vehicles with it.

We bought this in Feb 2010 and the boys have played with it off and on and they still like to play with it occasionally and it is still holding up!
