Ordered the six cans, first can had soft nuts and others were rancid and bitter. Figured it was a bad batch but second can had soft nuts hat weren’t crunchy and lots of small pieces . I feel like these nuts were LsecondsL and won’t order again.

My wife brought me a small container of these back from her trip to Hawaii a couple months ago. They were so good that I wanted to get some more. I bought this & the small cans ensure I don't devour them all in one setting. I bit expensive, but I only order them once it a while when I want something special. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking them up.

I lived on Maui for 5 months and fell in love with Mauna Loa garlic flavored macadamia nuts. I sent them to my family for the holidays (bought in Hawaii). My parents and I went to the Mauna Loa factory on the Big Island. So I know very well how they SHOULD taste. These are not it. Don’t buy these. DO. NOT. BUY. THESE!!!!!! Barf.

I had read the reviews on these specific ones but figured I’d see for myself plus I really missed eating them and was hoping I’d found a way to get them on the mainland (for not an arm and a leg). DO NOT BUY THESE. REPEAT - DO *NOT* BUY THESE. The expiration on the box was over 1 year away with an expiration of 11/2021 and I’d bought them in 8/2020 so thought for sure they should be fresh. I don’t know if it’s how this distributor stores them, but they are NOT how they should taste. The nut itself is hard but the flavor is RANCID and stale. I opened the can and the smell was rancid. I ate a few nuts and thought I could get used to the flavor but I didn’t, it’s too rancid and stale. Waste of $50. Wished I would’ve paid double the amount that they cost in Hawaii and just bought the 12 oz (or however big, less than 16 oz) bag for $25 on-line. Again, do not make the same mistake I did - DO NOT BUY THESE.

The nuts are fresh and taste great - but the box is small and contains 6 cheap looking PLASTIC containers of macadamias - not the metal cans that we used to receive. They are not re-closeable, either (just a flimsy plastic sheeting on the top that rips off). Pretty disappointing for gift giving. We're happy to eat them at home ourselves, but would have liked to know what we are getting with a more accurate product photo and description. We'll have to come up with alternative holiday gifts this year.

The product itself seems like good quality, no complaints on flavor or such. It's that the product doesn't deliver well in warm climates. A large part of this product is the chocolate dipped nuts. I had these delivered to a family member in Pheonix on an average day. Chocolate melted completely off and was outside for a minimal amount of time. So the quality of the product suffers a bit based on delivery system. It's likely not an issue ordering it in colder climates but the delivery system needs to accomodate warmer climate.

If you ever had macademia nuts on Hawaii, you will cry over these 6 cans of macademia.
Its bland, it doesn't know if its salty or sweet, they don't crunch, they dont have the roasted flavor, and definitely dont make you want to devour the whole tin.
Also, YOU CANNOT RETURN THESE.
Hawaiian honey roasted macademia nuts are amazing, full of flavor, smell like cake and basically are trip to heaven.

I am very disappointed.

Die Macadamia Nüsse erinnern mich an unseren Hawaii Aufenthalt und da musste ich diese zum stolzen Preis kaufen. Die Mauna Loa Nüsse sind schön gewürtzt und etwas kleiner als die als natürlichen die man im Supermarkt bekommt. Da es sich um ein Naturprodukt mit 80% Fett handelt, kann es sein das einer der Kontainer ranzig sein kann obwohl das Verfallsdatum noch weit entfernt ist. Das Gleiche passiert auch mit Walnüssen. Aber, im großen und ganzen, ein tolles Produkt welches mich wieder auf die Insel Maui zurückversetzt!
