Maureen Mullis studied journalism at Brigham Young University. After a couple of years working as a reporter and columnist for a small weekly newspaper she worked for awhile as a freelance writer. During her years as a stay-at-home mom she continued her writing, this time venturing into fiction. After a brief stint as a library tech in elementary and high schools, she and her family moved from California to Colorado where most of her stories take place.
She is the author of What Would Nancy Do? the first book of a new cozy mystery series featuring Maeve and Kate, two fifty-something best friends who solve mysteries in their small town in Colorado. She’s also written a women’s fiction novel In the Company of Women and the romance novel Finding Normal. You can find all her books on Amazon’s Kindle store.
She lives with her husband, two sons, two dogs and a motley collection of birds and fish in Colorado Springs, CO where she is currently at work on her next novel.
She enjoys social networking and hearing from readers. You can follow Maureen on Twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/maureenmullis or on Facebook http://on.fb.me/g1z5Jt and check out her blog at www.maureenmullis.blogspot.com and feel free to leave comments!
