Had this for years; unsturdy and cheap... but I STILL use mine! (...but only for paper towels)

I've had this for a few years and taken it camping many times. It disassembles and takes no room at all. Depending on what you are clamping this to, this thing can be pretty wonky. The tray is useless, dont expect anything to stay on it; I never use it. I primarily use this as a paper towel holder and use a bungee cord (when necessary) to keep the paper towels from unraveling in the wind. Have not needed to hang anything on the included rack/hanger but again, depending on what its clamped to, you may not want to rely on this. The clamp itself has issues and this thing is definitely cheaply made. I would gladly pay twice the price for a properly made item, built stronger with a proper clamp and racks/holders/trays that actually hold stuff. Somebody make this, please!

Great idea, poor construction

I was really excited about this because the first time I used my Flattop I was bumbling around with the paper towels and seasonings, etc. However, while the item is made using sturdy materials, the construction of it is very flimsy. The shelf has one little bar that goes through the center of the shelf which makes it unbalanced. The center pole is a two piece construction that sways side to side when hanging/taking off your utensils. And the clamp stretches instead of getting tighter. Really great idea, great design, poor construction.

Ok so I LOVE this product, like seriously was sooooo excited for it and to use it. I hoped for the best despite reading other reviews just because there's nothing else like this. Well, it does work EXCEPT that it doesn't tighten enough on the table to keep it up and stable. We didn't really put much weight on it: a half roll of paper towels, can of bug spray, travel pack of hand wipes, campfire lighter, kid size flashlight. We ended up having to use a tie strap and scrap piece of kindling to get it to stay up because the clamp was stripped upon the first attempt of making it snug enough. I'm glad my bff will be able to fix it with some of his welding skills but this is why I only gave it 2 stars. For the twenty-ish dollar price tag, it should be MUCH better quality.

Good morning everyone,
I used to have a table next to my grill all the time, but since I bought the organizer, I place all in there and my job has been easier, the product has three racks, one for the paper in order not to make a mess, the second flat rack spices, salts, sauces which holds easy around 2-3 pounds, and the last one is the utensils rack this one only holds four utensils. The C-clamp tha holds the accesories needs to be completely tight and extra protection need to be use as the foam pad is not thick, the system can be disassembly easy when no in use as its plug and play and has an screw that can be easily replace.
Pros:
Easy assembly
Great for small spaces
Fits all bbq that have a flat surface
Easy to clean & transport

Cons:
The structure is a little shabby
The foam pad in the c-clamps disappear very fast

I purchased this for my father's grill...

So far it seems up to task...
His grill side shelf is a bit narrow so it had to be mounted front to back to avoid the grill lid but that's not a poor reflection on THIS product. ;-)

Thin shelves/tables may require a shim of some short...but again that's not worth a ding in the rating.

One thing that I REALLY like is the ease with which the thing can be taken apart and stored, even leaving the "base/lower section" mounted. Stoopid simple AND it keeps it all clean and ready for the weekend. I'll probably need to order one for myself any day now.

I would have definitely given this product a higher rating but when my first one came the holes on the two main frames didn't align leaving them unable to be secured together. Sent in an exchange order, printed the form and was very surprised that my replacement had arrived before I had even mailed back the original.

However, it was the EXACT SAME PROBLEM with the first one. The holes on the two main vertical frames didn't align, unable to fasten them together.

I'm fearing an entire batch of these were mass produced this way and others will have the same problem.

The idea is great but the product quality is horrible!! The clamp screw stripped out with very little effort. Even if it would tighten up correctly it is very unstable. Maybe a more reputable company is selling a higher quality product on amazon?? Then again it seems lately that half of the things I purchase on amazon are of poor quality or worst...

While this was such a perfect find for Father's Day, sadly the product doesn't clamp on to the BBQ or railing of our patio very securely. It tilts and slips. My dad was really excited but now we have to find a way to stabilize it ourselves so it can be functional. I don't suggest this product to anyone, really.
