These are definitely worth whatever I paid for them. The adhesive on the back is serious. Like... committing to where you put it is the equivalent of getting a tattoo... That being said, they do give you extra little adhesive shapes. So you 'could' take a razor to the surface of the poor unsuspecting object that's been subjected to your mistake. Or, you could learn to live with it like your ex's name from that time in Vegas.

They are covered in a grippy rubber so there's none of that slipping nonsense. You know, where your device snaps onto the magnet but there's no friction to keep it oriented the way you placed it, and it slides across the case... Yea, this doesn't do that.

The magnets are pretty strong. I put one of the metal plates, that are nicely included, directly on my phone and it has no issue magnetizing even with my case on. I have one of those silicone + plastic Otter Boxes so it's got a good grip, even through a sturdy phone case.
I've found my decorative silicone bubble case (with the glitter and whatnot floating in it) has a hard time staying connected. It slowly scoots until it falls off after a few minutes. That's just bc the magnetic feild is struggling through the thick silicone and fluid. Hey, physics... What can you do?

I decided that the permanent placement just wasn't for me, tho. I did take some of the Velcro-like command strips (for picture hanging) and cut it to fit the back of a couple of them... now I just pop them off the wall and move them to the other designated spots. If they were a bit more discrete I'd have them hanging all over the house but they are kinda thick and noticeable but I love them.

The best magnet mounts out there. Incredibly strong an holds the iPhone Plus without any issues. I wanted to try these instead of the vent mounts. Vent mounts hold ok but have 2 issues with them. They tend to shift the vent down and not blow to the position that I want. Secondly they bounce when you hit a bump on the road. Feel like the weight will someday break the plastic vent.

These are great since you get a three pack and different metal plates to put between your case and your phone. Fits neatly without any bulge to your case. Most of the cases has a small circle indentation so it was perfect. After mounting on my dashboard and testing out. This things holds well even with all the potholes of NYC. Never once did it fall off and stays in whatever position you like (Portrait or landscape mode).

Since I had 2 left and hoping to make them useful, I stuck one on the kitchen wall and one on the garage wall. This was an absolute bonus. Now when I cook or working in the garage, I have it it in a safe and clean location. Before it would just sit on the counter and on the work bench and got dirty or dropped. With it mounted on the wall, I can have the recipe in front of me, see incoming alerts for email and text messages, and watch youtube on how to clean out my carburetor.

Price is definitely a plus for 3 of these. Wow.

Strong magnets, great value

I have a similar product in my car (more about that later), and my wife liked it and wanted one for her car. I wasn't completely happy with my original magnet mount from another "name brand electronics specialist" vendor. Although the other brand worked, the magnet was not as strong as I thought it should be with the metal plate inside the case, although It was fine with other magnetic windshield suction mounts. I even contacted the vendor and they told me it was my fault for not sticking the metal plate on the OUTSIDE of my LEATHER case. (and ruining it!)

So when my wife wanted the same thing for her car, I went looking for alternatives and found this product. I figured it couldn't be much different, and for less than I paid for the other one I would get three, so even if I had to stick two next to each other I would still have an extra left over if needed. I received the mounts and installed just one, and am very pleased. It is as strong (if not stronger, hard to compare since they are in two different cars) than the more expensive name brand mount, and I still have two more! My oldest daughter wanted one for her car, and now my wife wants to put one on the passenger side of our van that we take on long trips. My youngest daughter wants one to stick in her locker at school to hold her phone while she's in P..E. and when changing books between classes. She's gotten me thinking of other uses for them and I will probably order another set!

(edit) I forgot to mention that the set comes with multiple metal plates, and additional adhesive pads should you need to remove and re-stick one or more of the mounts. The adhesive pad is the 3M brand super duty stuff too, not no-name generic.

Everything about these are great except that the adhesive is not sticky. I tried all three and the adhesive is either very old or just doesn’t work. It’s too bad because otherwise the are great. I’m returning.

I love these for holding my cell phone while in the car. As Tennessee has just become a "Hands free" cell phone state, these are perfect for holding my phone where I can see who's calling or my navigation map. These are REALLY strong and with the 3M "stickum" they stay in place. The metal plate on the back of my phone (between the phone and the cover) makes a great connection with the magnet. Just what I was looking for.

I drive a 2016 Kia Soul +.

I didn't want another suction cup on my windshield (already have a camera), didn't want any adhesive on the top of the dashboard and I already have a GPS taking up most of that space, and the cup holders in the Soul are set too far back to made a mount that fits in them practical.

This works perfectly if you attach it just to the right of the radio - you'll still be able to reach everything. And I have't had any problems with it falling off or the sun melting anything.
