I used this disc to clean three DVD/BluRay players and they're all working well. It has several small brushes to clean the laser. The instructions are easy to follow. Just insert the disc and press play. It takes about 5 minutes per cleaning.

I bought an Xbox 360 new in 2009, and played it without issue until 2017 when it began to display "Open Tray" (instead of "Play Game") when I'd insert a disc. I feared the worst, but hoped for the best; so in an effort to resolve the issue quickly with minimum investment, I purchased this item—and I'm glad I did!This Maxell Lens Cleaner comes in a standard DVD jewel case, with the (pictured) instructions printed on the opposite side of the cover. Using the product is as easy as inserting it into your DVD-ready device and following the menu's on-screen prompts. Start-to-finish, the process took around three minutes of the disc spinning in my console, its three tiny brushes cleaning the lens with each pass.Once the product had run its cycle, I removed the disc, and tried several games that were unreadable as recently as the previous week; suffice it to say, I was thrilled when every one of them worked like new! I don't know how often I'll have a need to use this product, but the packaging notes that it’s good for up to twenty uses. As far as I’m concerned, at less than ten bucks, this item—after only a single use—has already paid for itself.
