This ribbon is wonderful! Its a classic ribbon that can be used in a variety of ways! I absolutely love it! The description definitely states that it is organic cotton and the label on the spool did say it was polyester {it is covering up a label that says it is cotton}. This ribbon certainly has a natural and "cotton" feel-whether or not it is 100% cotton. It would be lovely if May Arts could figure out its packaging.
Stunning. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Ribbon has a retro look and feel. I used it as a topper on advent calandars that I gave as gifts. Results were over the top beautiful.
The ribbon comes in a versatile width, the stripes are a fun/different look. I like the weight and texture of the ribbon; it has enough body to hold a bow in shape and is great for embellishing cards or for wrapping gifts.
So I ordered this "organic" ribbon to make toys for my baby. I opened it to find it is made of 100% polyester, and no mention of organic or cotton anywhere. LAME!
