Having recalled that I found King's books fascinating in 1970, I recently regretting disposing of them long ago. Rereading now, I see why I didn't keep them. If you have access, take a look. A few pages are highly entertaining, but don't invest much time or money in tracking them down.

An old favorite from way back in my High School days; " May This House Be Safe FromTigers" by the fabled raconteur Alexandar King who often was a guest on the Jack Paar Late Night TV Show is a delightful read. The book arrived lovingly packaged exactly as described

I love this book. Read it many times. Keep losing it or giving it away to someone more needy then go out and buy myself another copy to read again. The cycle of my life.

Ordered this for a friend. She was absolutely thrilled! Came quickly. And, considering this book is from the 60s (I believe), this condition was very, very good.

Alexander King was the first great raconteur (in the Viennese tradition) we saw on TV. Also see his first book, "Mine Enemy Grows Older." Funny, touching, perceptive writing.

I read this book many more years ago than I care to remember, I enjoyed it then and I have little doubts I will enjoy it again, when I( get round to reading it. I am just glad I have a copy.
