About the Author
The author is a retired medical oncologist and hematologist. He has published more than 35 scientific papers, self published a book of poetry and written a number of other poems and short stories. The current works, the When I Grow Up Series, are his initial venture into the world of children's stories. The books seek to explore different professions, through the eyes of a young child, in the setting of a family dynamic with the family Schnauzer, Morgen, as a unifying motif, constant companion who expresses curious persistence within each illustration. The illustrator has lectured in Graphic Design at Australian and American universities. She has exhibited work in the National Science and Technology Center. as well as the National Gallery and Parliament House in Australia.
