Got tired of spending $35 a pop on Bare Minerals face powder. Wanted something that gave good coverage, stayed on, and kept the oil away with minimal reapplication. This does the trick, at a much more reasonable price.

Now, since we all know that computer screens don't always give a true color representation, I went into my local CVS and compared shades, finding the right one for my skin tone, then came back here to order it and saved a couple bucks. I did the same thing for the liquid foundation and the concealer. I like them so much, I won't be going back to Bare Minerals or any other $$$ brand.

I have reordered this powder about 10x. I try to use new pressed powder products from time to time to not get stuck in a makeup rut- Expensive ones like Wander Beauty, inexpensive ones like Cover Girl. It's this powder I keep coming back to. There is no scent, so I don't have that weird noxema smell on my face, there are no sparkles in it, which is nice if you need a completely matte finish, (you can add shimmer with another product if you want.) You can easily build up with this product, or just use one swoop of coverage. I use it on eyelids under brow too for highlight color after bronzer is applied. It doesn't cake up, or look crepey on skin either. And at this price point, it's a total steal.

Really Does Mattify Foundation and Erase Pores <3

I love all FITme! products and this one is another addition. It does exactly what it says it is supposed to which is erase pores and mattify your face. In my opinion it is not meant to be used on it's own as a foundation unless you don't care about having extremely sheer coverage and are going for the "no makeup" makeup look. What I use it for normally is to set my undereye, my chin, and in between my brows to create a mattifying poreless look as well as using it atop my nose because foundation often looks cakey on my nose, and this evens it out.

All FITMe products have the magical touch of being able to fit man skin tones, and this one does as well. When I first swatched the product, it looked extremely light and thought it would make my face ghostlike. But it once applied, it blends with my skin tone perfectly.

I'm mixed, a light tan, it's hard to find just the right shade PLUS I need a little bit of oil control too. My T-Zone gets oily by the end of the day, but from the time I put it on through half of my day I only need touch up my nose once and by the end and I'm still bopping around, one more. It's a great shade, but I wouldn't recommend going by the color you see on your screen. See it in a store first to be honest. Computer monitors vary in color saturation and brightness depending on the computer and the user.

I wouldn't of guessed this the color for me on here, but saw it in the store and bought it. I was so pleased to find a color that worked that I didn't have to buy in a department store just to pay a ton for the right shade which the girl's behind the counters could never pick out right anyway.

The pore coverage is smooth and perfecting, gives off a great matte effect without looking "over powdered." I don't need liquid with it either. Just do my T-zone coverage and a little contour with it and I'm good to go! I hope they don't discontinue it. I can't stand when I find a great product only to go get more and they don't make it anymore. :(

I have no idea of the quality of this product, and I’m only commenting on the condition it arrived in. It is Maybelline Matte powder and the container was in a large box with some air pillows. Not enough air pillows to stop it from banging around, and this is the condition it arrived in… loose powder all over inside the box and coming out of every seam of the powder box itself. This is definitely not the way to impress people with their purchase.

The powder itself (translucent powder) is great! I haven't had any issues with applying it or the color changing my skin tone (I have olive skin). Just a little bit of powder goes a long way and it probably lasts for a couple hours at a time so I have to briefly reapply it 2-3 times a day (albeit I have moderately oily skin, especially the t zone). It definitely minimizes shine (only for a little while though) but it doesn't fill in pores.

It comes with a little sponge pad and mirror, but the case and the way the it's arranged is atrocious. I personally would prefer a simple case without the sponge and mirror. The outside plastic of the case was already cracked upon delivery, but the makeup itself was intact. I try to be really careful with it though because the makeup is on a pivoting layer so that if you want to use the sponge/mirror, you need to flip the makeup layer up and it gets annoying to have to continuously flip and slap it around. With those extra pieces, it's a little bulkier than I prefer.

I would rate the powder as 4 stars but the case as 2 stars. I'll probably get a different, more compact product next time.

The buff beige is a bit darker and much more orange than I expected, and that is a bit odd, because I think that's the shade I use in the matching liquid foundation.

Like the translucent, it applies pretty easily and doesn't need much reapplication, but I am also only oily on a few parts of my face, so baking tends to eliminate the need for future reapplication for me. Both shades, though, have the frustrating tendency to settle into the fine lines that are starting to develop on my face, which...well, that sucks for baking a bit. I do stay matte, which is nice, but poreless...not so much. The areas of my face without open pores, it works just fine, but like the fine lines, if a pore is more open, it's going to settle right on top and act like a big ol' arrow to it, so I have to bake and possibly finish with another powder. It works fine for the rest of my face, though...if it weren't orange. That's my fault, though, I guess.

I prefer to use powder before using it, as I have oily skin and it doesn't soak up the sweat. So, I wasn't too happy at first. But, I got a lot of compliments for the non make up glowy look, so I would recommend this for all. I used the toffee 330 for wheatish skin and my mom uses 230 buff beige for fair skin

Fantastic powder that keeps my oily skin matter that anything else I've found on the market. Unfortunately, when you start reaching the pan the powder is baked in your applicator gets discolored by something black, so you can't use the whole product. The sponge (yes, sponge, for some unknown reason) coming with the product is also not good for application, so I recommend buying some cheaper powder puffs.
