This adapter supports all of the basic functions of the Gamecube controller, including the analog input on L and R. My only issue is that it says that it supports the built-in rumble, but I've had no luck with getting that to work on either the Switch or on PC. I've tested it with multiple controllers, and even after updating it with the latest firmware from Mayflash's website, the rumble still doesn't work.
Despite this, I really only got this to use on Dolphin, and for that it works really well even without rumble with Dinput in PC mode. Also, if you update the drivers on PC with Zadig while the toggle is set to Wii U mode, Dolphin will recognize this as a Wii U adapter and will automatically map all of the buttons for you.
Edit: I now realize the rumble feature does in fact work on this adapter and that the controllers I was using were the problem. I was originally using offbrand controllers from both Cirka and Old Skool, and even though they advertise that they have built-in rumble, they don't seem to actually rumble when paired with a Wii U adapter for some reason, or they both just might have defective motors.
I recently decided to pick up an OEM Gamcube controller, and when paired with this adapter, the rumble actually works.
