Update: I received the NS2 and I was able to successfully pair it with the XBOX Core controller. It then worked fine with the Tesla. The Standard NS will likely work as well with the Tesla, but not with the XBOX Core controller. The NS2 works perfectly for me. I wish the posting would go into more detail about what controllers these actually support.
I am using this with a standard Nintendo switch, while docked. I set the MAGIC-NS 2 to the Purple LED mode, and adjusted my Switch to use a wired Pro controller, just as the instructions recommended. I would turn on the Series S/X controller, press the sync button on the controller and NS 2 and they would never link up even a few inches away. The NS 2 would stop blinking rapidly and go back to the standard pattern, and the Series S/X controller would continue flashing but at what I'd describe as a medium rate, not rapid like it is after you press the sync button initially, but not at slow as it is when it gives up entirely. I tried unplugging and reconnecting the adapter, and removing the batteries in the controller several times, no change. I reset the Series S/X controller several times too (hold down the sync button for 20+ seconds, it will vibrate to indicate it will reset).
I contacted support and they responded within a few hours with a suggestion to reboot my switch a few times. That did not resolve the issue, however, it led me to discover what the issue was. A smart TV in the other room (Sony Bravia x850C, Android TV 8.0) was asking if I'd like to pair the controller, since I was in the other room, I did not dismiss that request and it might have been hanging on to that Bluetooth connection until the controller would time out and eventually went to sleep.
I turned off the Bluetooth with my IR remote and tried to connect via Bluetooth again, and it immediately connected and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I did notice on several windows 10/11 machines after I had reset the controller, they would pop up a notification to pair to the new controller as well, but that would be dismissed after a few seconds if I did not dismiss them myself. During my initial attempts to sync, I had turned off Bluetooth on those machines and it did not make a difference. So, if you are having similar issues connecting a Series S/X controller to the MAGIC-NS 2 adapter for use with a Nintendo Switch this is what I recommend:
1. Set MAGIC-NS 2 to Switch Pro Mode (Purple LED by holding down the button for 3-5 seconds to cycle through the modes).
2. Reset your Series S/X controller by holding down the reset button for 20+ seconds until it vibrates.
3. Disable or turn off any Bluetooth device within range of the controller. If you live close, or share a wall with your neighbors, I would not dismiss the possibility that your controller could be trying to connect to one of their devices.
3a. If you think that might be the case, I'd try to sync the controller outside or in a car, where the Bluetooth range to those devices would be impaired enough to not interfere. Once you're out of range, plug the MAGIC-NS 2 into the switch with the included USB-C to USB-A adapter plugged directly into the switch USB-C port on the bottom, and attempt the sync process again. (turn on the Series S/X controller, hold the sync button until it starts blinking rapidly, then press the button on the MAGIC-NS 2). You only need to get them synced once, unless you reset the Series S/X controller, they will be paired and have no issues connecting near those other devices once they are linked together.
4. Profit
The sync process and modes are well documented in their instructions, I figured I'd add it here just in case.
What to expect once they are synced:
You cannot wake the switch by turning on the controller, at least I've not been able to do that, with any of the other controllers either. When docked, turn the switch on by pressing the power button, then press the Xbox button to wake the controller. It the Xbox LED will light up as if it's paired, but there will not be any inputs registered to the console for a few seconds. The controller will vibrate when it is fully connected and ready to go. I think this is what the special note in the manual for the Elite 2 controller is referring to, I had interpreted the note to be what to expect when pairing.
I've got several hours on Pokemon Arceus with my Series S/X controller and it's so much better than using the Joy Cons. Metroid Dread is great with this controller too. The Dead Zone, vibration level adjust and button remap work just as intended. I have the adapter installed inside the dock and am about 15 ft away with the switch screen facing me, so the NS 2 is behind the switch and facing away from me into a wall. I've had the Joy Cons drop connection or have delayed reactions at this distance and I've not had any hiccups from the NS 2 at this distance with the Series S/X controller.
Overall I am very happy with this product and service so far. The support team was very prompt with their response to me about the issue and happy to help me troubleshoot it, even though it ended up being an issue with the controller and another device.
I hope this info helps someone get set up and gaming faster instead of banging their head against a wall trying to get it to work.
I don't know how they managed to design something for the switch but not leave enough room so that two could be used at once. Huge oversight. Even if you squeeze them in, the buttons are on the side, so one or the other won't have access to the sync button.
I have a Wii U Pro controller that I onpy got to sue with 2 or 3 games because nintebdo abandoned the console right away and focused on the 3ds. And I have all sorts of dualshock controllers and the new dualsense controller.
I been playing overwatch 2. Sometimes, I want to play in bed at night, and my PS5 is in my living room. I figured the switch would be perfect, but the controllers were unbearable. I did not want to spend $60 on a switch pro controller when I have already wasted money on their stupid joycons and on a Wii u pro controller that had very little use to me.
Found this little guy after doing a Google search. This is the best and most affordable solution to the switch controller problem to anyone who has other controllers that they would prefer to use.
Packaged well. Very easy to set up. Works flawlessly with my switch console and dualsense controller. Also able to use a Bluetooth headset at the same time, which is a major bonus. Haven't tried other controllers, but this should also work with dualshock 4, Wii u pro, and wiimotes, so now I have plenty of options that are actually practical.
Here are some tips:
1. Set the MAYFLASH to Switch Pro mode (purple LED)
2. Make sure to enable wired "Pro controller use" from Switch controller settings
3. Within the Mega Mix game, go to "customization" and change the XABY display to ΔΟΧ◻
4. Also within "customization," set the gaming mode to "arcade controller." Adjust for lag as needed.

2.) Auf der Nintendo Switch in die Einstellungen > Controllers and Sensors > Pro Controller Wired Communication – "ON" auswählen
I tried making it work with my Xbox One controller to no avail, I tried different coloured 'settings' and followed a few YouTube tutorials but couldn't make it work.
I then used it wired, resorting to a 5m USB connection and it... worked? I could use my Xbox One controller on my Switch and I was elated, for about 30 seconds, before the connection wavered. The controller would connect then unconnect seemingly whenever it wanted.
The most usage I got from this was about 5 mins of uninterrupted bliss, however, this product isn't usable. I have decided to purchase a wired PDP Rock Candy controller and am hoping to attain better results.
