I don't normally read fiction. I started reading these while I was researching a project on youth novels. I got addicted. Lisa Nowak is an excellent writer and a careful researcher. If she states something as a fact, you know it is so. And, her extrapolations are based on reality. I had a hard time putting this series down to eat, and read straight through the night. Believable plot, characters, and technology. I actually care about the characters in this series and wrote Lisa asking to be on the list for the next installment!

I absolutely loved the whole series. I just finished number six and was so disappointed when I realized that I had to wait for the next one. YA is usually not my thing and I downloaded the first one thinking it was science fiction, which it is also. The books are so well written, the characters so well developed, the story so intriguing that it was a pleasure to read. I kept going back to them. These are real page turners.

What I like about this series is it is grounded in very possible occurrences and technology making the stories fully believable that our world could go in this direction someday.
