McCormick Meat Tenderizer, Unseasoned is the perfect way to easily tenderizer even your toughest meat. The blend of salt and bromelain tenderizers your meat, and allows you to season the meat as you desire.
Salt, Dextrose, Bromelain (Tenderizer), and Calcium Silicate (Added to Make Free Flowing)
Just before cooking, moisten surface of meat with water. Sprinkle tenderizer evenly over meat (1 tsp. Per lb.). Do not add salt. Pierce meat with fork at 1/2 - in. intervals. Cook immediately. Tip: When preparing thick cuts such as roasts, pierce deeply with fork and let stand 30 min. before cooking.
