Product Description

From Earth -52, here comes the fastest and deadliest man in the Dark Multiverse—Red Death! A menacing mashup of Batman and The Flash, this Dark Knight came to be when a once-noble Caped Crusader stole the Speed Force from The Flash hoping to prevent past tragedies. Clad in red metal armor, this sinister speedster moves like a literal bat out of hell.
In a freak lab accident, forensic scientist Barry Allen was struck by lightning and doused
with chemicals, which gave him the superpowers of the Speed Force. Now he uses these powers to
defend his hometown of Central City—and the rest of the world—from the forces of evil as The
Flash! The Fastest Man Alive can run up the sides of buildings, across oceans, and around the world at light speed. He can also vibrate his molecules to phase through solid objects!

      This pack was so worth the price, especially when you consider that its basically 20 bucks per figure. Both are incredibly articulate and very filly detailed. I got it mostly for the Red Death, but the Flash figure is one of the best out there, yeah the face is a little weird but it's a varent for fighting RD and perfectly reflects the tone of the comic this is from. Over all if you like the flash, DK Metal, or just cool looking action figures this is a good purchase. The one other review I see on here is 2 stars because there box got busted, which while a crumy thing does not at all reflect the quality of the figures inside. If you can still get this for 40 bucks its a total must buy.

      What can I say? The set is beautiful, but sad it's the only way to get the red version of The Red Death vs. All of the other sets where you can buy the figs singly. The Flash is ok, but available singly too. Again, it's beautiful & the price was great from Amazon, but I call a foul on mcfarlane for doing that to us to get Red Death.

      This box set is enormous. The box is comically giant but gives the whole affair a nice presentation. Flash is posed running toward the awaiting Red Death Batman over a huge base. If you're an in-box collector you'll be happy with the presentation but might have to move stuff around to make space for the gigantic box. The figures are standard DC Multiverse size to fit in with the rest of the figures and have that quality McFarlane sculpt to them.

      If I had to gripe about something I'd chose a few things. A lot of people have been getting a Red Death whose legs are permanently warped by the way it's posed in the package. So a bow-legged Red Death is no good BUT that's a crap shoot. Mine wasn't bowlegged but it would of blown if it was. On a more universal level, Flash's expression is a bit strange. Looks like he's squeezing out a mad dookie more than an expression of focused anger. The single figure available has a smarmy smirk that isn't great either, so pick your poison. Finally, the base looks like a huge turd. Literally, like a massive poop for the boys to stand on. That being said, the box does come with standard figure stands (disc form) so you don't have to abide by the massive log.

      I bought this after a slight price drop and was very happy with the purchase. I saved about 6 off the original price. It has a much nicer display and as cool s as red death turned out I feel like I got the extra flash for a few dollars. I’m not saying I would take the risk on missing it at the retail but I would say it’s a must at any discount.
