      This figure fits in a weird space. It's Super Powers style which seems random and doesn't fit with the New 52 or the classics style motif. The cape and the permanent omega beam(Eye laser) are a bit more bothersome than I though they'd be. That's more of a style critique, though.
      As far as build and quality of the figure, it's a McFarlane figure which by its nature is high quality and durable. Paint apps are shape and face sculpt is acceptable if not amazing. I paid $40 for this a couple of years ago and I think it's a great value for money.

      It’s a really good looking figure, the sculpt is fantastic and the wired cape is awesome. My complaint is that it’s a very stiff. It’s essentially a statue. The leg joints don’t move very well, and the right arm comes out of its peg just with slight movement but i can pop it back in easily. All in all it’s still a really good figure for $40

      This is the darkseid figure I wanted for a long time. If you grew up watching the superfriends or collected the super powers toyline back in the 80s I highly recommend this figure. Would love a 80s style kalibak to complete my collection
