      So my daughter has really been wanting this set for Christmas. I ordered it and just got it in the other day. I've been trying to get started on my shopping and catch sales when I can. Truth is, we are having a small one this year. My husband has been on strike (UMWA) for 19 mths now. So though a bit pricey for a building block set, I ordered anyway knowing how much she wanted it. I literally cried when I opened the package. I knew it would probably be small but I was so disappointed! No, I didn't read the description, not when it was something wanted so much. Really though, how many people that have purchased this really thinks my 10 yo will be overjoyed with it on Christmas morning? Santa only brings 3 for each child and there is a spending limit.. with what this cost, she won't be getting much more.

      So, for collectors that can afford it, I'm sure it's a great set. For a mom on a very slim budget shopping for Christmas, I'm beyond disappointed. So just here to say, if you're buying as a gift... please make sure to read and know that you are ok with the measurements.
