The real fun is painting the figure into any space marine chapter you want, whether it's canon or fan made, the limit is your imagination. For my figure, I chose to paint for the carcharodons or space sharks, since they have a vague paint scheme, which leaves room for personal interpretation.
I can't recommend this action figure enough. It's fun to pose and it gives an opportunity to practice your painting abilities. Whether you're a seasoned painter/customizer for figures/miniatures or a beginner, go get him, it's worth it.

This was my first artist proof figure that was used to paint on. And the experience has been really positive and fun. One design issue I found was with the foot plates. It seems that they added or designed plates that belonged to only one leg and not both. Really just a matter of symmetry in painting things, so no big deal. As a test figure to try painting and getting a new hobby, it worked out great.

Iv tried painting minitures but I don't have the greats eye site or steady hand so I find it really hard. This bad boy is brilliant. I love the size its was bigger than I thought it would be. It comes in grey as you can see by the head. Once I primed the model I started to airbrush the colour then added scrapes and shadow. It is still a work in progress and I have not finished it yet. It is a great price for what you get. Plus it comes with moving parts and accessory's to add to you model. I am really enjoying painting. It does not come with a bases but you could make your own and use a model stand to get the position you want.DillanFantastic.
