Bruce McLaren was well known and much admired for the racing cars hat bore his name and live on today, long after he died. It's nicely done, full of old films and anecdotes, but may appeal more to those who remember the Can-Am and the Cosworth era of Formula One. At current prices it's a bargain and much more of historical value that reruns of the US edition of Top Gear.
If your idea of motor racing is Monster Trucks or Drifting contests, save your lunch money. If you understand "Can-Am" and know that Cosworth is not a kitchen appliance, then buy this, watch it with tears in your eyes and recall an era we will never again see. Don't even bother to try to explain it to your family. A wee dram of single malt scotch and maybe your favorite pet on your lap is perfect.
