Being an Echo fan for over 20 years and being priviledged to see them twice in concert in NYC I will say this is a great live album. Although the venue this was recorded from is obviously for the making of the CD (no one cheers when the songs from the album "Siberia" are sung) it is a well put together concert. Even though Ian's voice cracks and strains (too much smoke and drink?) he can still sing the Bunny tunes! A must have for Bunny fans!

I'll admit right off that I've never had the opportunity of seeing E&tB live. I was still pretty young and listening to corny pop rock when the grey album and Ocean Rain came out. But I've gotten into them in the last few years, and really enjoy all of their stuff.

This is a GREAT live album. All the predictable songs (Killing Moon, Lips Like Sugar, Rescue), all the usual songs (Villiers Terrace, Ocean Rain, etc.), all the new songs from the newest album, and luckily some oldies and goodies.

All the songs are played amazingly and are faithful to the original. This is a blistering show that sounds like a great representation of the shows they did to support Siberia. I like this one better than Live in Liverpool. The new songs, IMO, are better than the songs from Flowers. One beef is that at times the new songs stick out like a sore thumb in the flow of songs. For instance- the disc starts with Going Up and With a Hip, both pretty hard punk-ish songs. Then the twinkly sequencing of Stormy Weather comes up and sounds odd. It makes me giggle at the strangeness of it.

This is a great set, and I really recommend it to all Bunny fans!

This is the same music from the "Dancing Horses" DVD. The technical glitches are minor (it is live after all), and I thought it was a well recorded album. The best part in my opinion is when Ian is doing "With a Hip" (one of my favorites) and forgets some lyrics (I was at a Collective Soul concert this summer and the same thing happened with Ed; it's proof that they're human after all!). The classics are there ("Lips Like Sugar", "The Disease", All That Jazz") with some tunes off their (at the time) new album "Siberia" ("Stormy Weather", "Scissors in the Sand", "Of a Life", and two more) I thought the set list was a smooth mix, and they can't put everything on so there will be grumbles of "Why didn't they do (fill in the blank)?" The band sounds fantastic, Will is at his usual best, and Ian's vocals are still great (but different). Bottom line: it's definitely worth the buy if your a fan, even if you're just a "best of" listener.

I am a life long Bunnymen fan, since I first heard 'Rescue' seep through a neighbour's wall in London in 1980. They are my favourite Liverpool combo bar none. The songs and albums and great gigs stay with me forever. New York 1982. London 1984. Dublin 1986. London comeback 1996. Brussels 2001.

Today I bought this album. It was recorded in London in late 2005 at Shepherds Bush. The track listing is great, all my favourites, and I could not wait to get home to hear it. It takes a while to get going and for the first seven songs 'the voice' sound very thin and wasted but the band are great throughout and by the middle of the set things start to catch fire and 'Mac' return to us. A triumph of mind over matter? Cant help wondering if he laid off the ciggies for a while we would have a classic Bunnymen set once again.

I am late getting into Echo and the Bunnymen, but they are now one of my all time favorite bands. I have the DVD to this concert and I am very happy with the CD. Its raw and sounds great, of course Ians voice is not the same, but he does hit those notes on tracks like the Cutter and the back of love, that gives you the chills. If you are a fan of Echo this is a must have.
Standout tracks, All That Jazz, Siccors in the Sand, Ocean Rain, Going up. The band sounds tight its overal a great live record. Just plese keep making muisc, the new tracks sound great. I highly recommend that people purcahse the DVD of this show called "Dancing Horses".
