These are not the same quality PeeChee folders I had as a kid. They're extremely thin and made cheaply. They lasted half a quarter before ripping everywhere and all I did was keep them in my backpack. As a kid, my Peechee lasted more than a semester and I carried them, drew and doodled on them, and used them frequently for 5 classes. Regrettably, these are nothing like those.

Looks Just like when I was a kid. Slightly flimsier than I remember. Would buy again but I was kind of annoyed that the picture shows assorted colors. I received all blue. I love it but still, I was looking forward to the variety.

Beware - five of SAME color

Implies that this is an assorted five-pack.
Well, it's a five-pack, but five of the SAME color.
Just beware. You get what you get and in my case, it was the worst "pink" I've ever seen.
The folders are much thinner and flimsier than the original ones, but overall, they work as a folder, so there's that.

Bought Pee-Chee's for Christmas to give to my 49 year old brother and he LOVED them! Said it was such a cool gift - An old school nod to our childhood days when we'd customize our Pee-Chee's during homeroom.

Have to say was THRILLED to have found these. If you're nostalgic then this is a perfect gift! Even my teenage nephew thought they were cool.

I may get another batch for myself.

I was hoping for the same folders I used in high school. I didn't get the mixed colors I ordered , they were all blue. The folders are very thin paper and I don't see them lasting long. I'm glad they weren't this thin and cheaply made back in the school days.

I ordered the multi-colored 5 pack specifically for the different colors. I received a 5 pack of ALL goldenrod. Disappointing as receiving something other than what you order is, I decided to avoid the whole hassle of a return/replacement and kept the folders.

My daughter's school supply list literally said "peachy folder for Science" and we were amused and bewildered... maybe it's a West coast thing (we just moved here from the South East) but somehow every other kid got the right thing! I'm glad I tracked it down; I honestly did not think it was going to be right. My only complaint is the price! I got light blue because it was cheapest for whatever reason.

Just because it was the kind my son's school required so had to buy it but it was definitely not worth $6. The cardboard was so flimsy, there are more sturdy folders. Since the school wanted the vertical pocket partitions on the sides and not available anywhere nearby had to order it on amazon. Whatever be the design, $6 was a total rip off!
