Temperature readings very consistent

I bought two TS13C-M sensors from Amazon to monitor outside temperatures. The units are well made, which is something I expected because I have experience with Meade's telescope optics as well.
I use these to monitor for frost in two outdoor locations. When left side by side the two units consistently display the same temperature or vary by no more than 2 tenths of a degree Fahrenheit.
The unit's battery compartment door includes an internal o-ring and has 4 corner screws each threading into metal, not plastic. The units are very easy to hang on a post or the wall.
I am very happy with my purchase so far, especially for the price.

"Weather Station Review", Meade Wieless Remote Temp/ Humidity Sensor

Well, what can I say about the most reliable Temperature - Humidity sensor . I have used this product for approximately 5 years with flawless excellence. I am an acoustic guitar collector with many, many fine instruments. These instruments MUST be kept in a humid environment, as they will dry out and crack. Although I live in the high desert of Oregon, I find it easy to control the temperature and more so, the humidity in my home and office using this wonderful system. I have a main sensor in my bedroom and the remote wireless sensor in the room where I store my collection of instruments. I also have remote wireless sensors in my garage and outside on my deck ( one master control can monitor up to 3 wireless remotes.) It is so easy to keep informed about the conditions within my home with this product. After 5 years I am replacing them due to an unfortunate fire, consuming my bedroom, causing the equipment to melt. Thanks to the local fire dept., my collection of instruments was saved, my home is almost completely rebuilt and I am ready to move back in with my collections and my wonderful Meade Remote Weather monitoring device. Inexpensive and reliable!!!!

The TS13C-M is an ideal device for the "I don't need any directions" guys as you don't. Install the AA's and the thing starts working. As the Mead receiver also uses AA's, as does most oh other stuff, for me this is a plus. Been using for about 3 months now and the temp sensor has worked perfectly. This device, along with the Mead TM 005X-M wireless thermo hygrometer make a useful and attractive unit that just works. You will kike it.

Meade TM005X-M w/Remote Sensor

This instrument was the ideal product for monitoring the temperature and humidity in our newly constructed home. With the remote sensor, we are able to monitor the temperature and humidity on two levels. I found that the temperature and humidity readings on both sensors was extremely accurate and that the base unit had no difificulty receiving a signal from the remote sensor located in the basement. The unit is a "must have" for any homeowner who needs/wants to monitor temperature and humidity levels in their home.

We are enjoying our remote temperature sensor. It was a little tricky to set up, but has been working perfectly. The remote sends the information through the garden, then the greenhouse and into our kitchen. A real help planning for the day!
