But it is a blessed book about the Lord's faithfulness towards this family in giving them the strength, direction, wisdom and understanding that they needed during this trial in their lives. It is a book that you just can't put down once you start reading it!
I thank the author for sharing this testimony with us, as I got to learn more about the Lord's faithfulness and about cancer, a horrible disease. May the Lord keep our children always healthy!
A few years after moving we heard about Hollands diagnosis and followed Hollands story closely from afar. It had a great impact on my family and we silently mourned with the Young family during their trails. I could not help but imagine my daughter in her shoes as we heard about the events as hey happened in real-time.
Knowing the Young family personally made this story even more powerful for me. It was truly remarkable to see through Bryan's eyes and share in the powerful experiences they had during Holland's last 14 months on earth.
While I shed many tears reading this book, and though my heart broke again as I read about the last days of her life, when I turned the last page I felt uplifted and edified. It was a blessing for me to be able to read this marvelous book and share a tiny part of the feelings the Young family must have gone through.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone. From people experiencing a crisis of faith, to people with a strong testimony in our Savior, to people who do not have a faith in God at all, any person can be uplifted by this amazing story of Holland Young and her family.
