This is a great set of measuring spoons. They're heavy, and the ring that holds them together is sturdy. I have a plastic set that's always coming off the ring, and I don't think these will do that. I specifically wanted these because they have a 1/8 teaspoon and a 1/2 tablespoon. Not all sets have that. I also like that the measurements are etched in and won't rub off. I also like that they're dishwasher safe. Mine have been through the dishwasher several times already.

Highly recommend if you are needing measuring spoons.

These are well made, heavy stainless steel. I purchased to replace some measuring spoons made from thin stamped steel -- these are much better, look better, and work better.

There were some negative reviews about them not being stainless steel because a magnet stuck to them. This is incorrect. There are a variety of stainless steel alloys that are generally divided into 300 series which are not (or only weakly) magnetic and the 400 serices which generally are magnetic. 410 is often used for cooking equipment because, compared to the 300 series alloys, it has a greater tensile strength and can be heat treated to make it harder, e.g., knives. If you check your stainless steel kitchen tools and applicances many of them will be magnetic, some won't.There were also some negative reviews about them staining or rusting. I've not found this to be the case in routine use including trips through the dishwasher. A few other reviews commented on sharp, unfinished edges. The backs of the holes for the included storage ring were a bit rough on a few - I was able to easly correct with some aluminum oxide sandpaper.

I have also put them in the dishwasher and found no problems and I would buy them again.
