It's hard to find what you have grown accustom to. Take this apron, basically a good design. Fabric resists grease and dirt. Pockets are handy but beware of the apron strings. I think the apron waist tie should go around your waist and not around your butt. I am not short (5'11") and with the waist tie that low the apron wants to ride up exposing my pant legs. Maybe they expect you to keep the waist string loose but I like mine tight. Oh well, maybe i can get my wife to do an alteration.

I really like the apron. The pockets are flat so they don't get caught on anything and there are leg guards which I find extremely helpful. I'm a special effects makeup artist so this keeps any molding and casting materials off of my clothes in the shop. The only reason why I give this 4 stars is because the tie in the back is really low. I think the back apron tie should go around your waist and not around your butt. I am not short (5'9") and with the waist tie that low, it makes my shirt ride up, exposing my lower back...and sometimes a little of my backside. (I can't help it! Sometimes my hands are covered in muck of some kind and I have to bend over for some reason).

I work in a shop that requires some customer contact thus, my uniform needs to remain as clean as possible during business. Whenever tires or brakes are involved this apron really helps! Many pockets of varying sizes for valve stem cores/wheel weights, pen pocket for pens/core remover. Really rugged material. The straps are the only thing I'm concerned with. The adjustment doesn't stay well(had to tie a knot), they seem like the weak link and they are not padded at all so it kind of digs into your neck if worn too long.

I work on several motorcycles at my home. I like the apron for keeping by clothes clean, but also for the extra pockets for holding tools and parts while working. The split in the front makes it easy to bend down and not be constrained by the apron. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the latch for the waste is a little hard to reach since it is not in the front.

They took a perfectly good product and screwed it up. First they changed the material to some type of meltable material. You can't let anything hot near it, like a spark or semi hot metal chip. Then they got stupid with the pockets and made the whole apron larger. I've used these aprons for years - I'll look for a different company/maker next time I need some.

This thing is awesome. The split leg feature makes sitting and squatting no problem and the pockets are plentiful and well-sized without being baggy. The material is heavy and should hold up to what it's meant to endure. I wouldn't weld or do any super heavy grinding but anything short of that shouldn't cause it to fail.

I'm a woodworker and six foot tall and I feel this apron is smaller than I thought. The neck strap should be longer and softer or at least a felt liner attached.

I make custom knives and this apron is perfect for keeping all that grinding dust off of me. I love the flat pockets as the don't get caught on anything while I am working close to the grinder. Gives me a place to keep my marker and pencil and cellphone along with anything else I need. Plus it looks pretty snazzy. Additionally, It's very well made, good quality side release buckles and decent enough webbing straps.
