These two are a riot to watch and made me laugh at their antics! The witty banter alone endured me to Gavin & Molly. They fight the attraction between them at every turn, but everything conspires against them to prove that real love can be found anywhere! Ginny & Goldie are the eccentric aunts that are over-the-top hilarious; deep down they care a great deal for Gavin and only want to see him happy. I haven’t laughed so much at a story for a long time!
This was a clean, sweet read with comical references to a trashy romance novel that made me laugh-out-loud. I would definitely give Gavin lots of points for his creativity to impress Molly & win her heart! He’s the real deal when it comes to hero material. In the end, they both just wanted someone to love them for who they really are. And don’t we all want that very thing for ourselves?

One paragraph into this novella and I was all in! Loved every minute. Jill Kemerer has a hit with this one! If the rest of this series of novellas set in a matchmaking resort is anything like the first two, that will be wonderful..
Gavin Sterling is roped into filling in for a no-show on a matchmaking weekend at his great aunts' resort. His decidedly weird great aunts. They are considering him to inherit said resort and he wants to stay on their good side. Besides, no woman they pair him with will know he is a billionaire, something that has not worked well for him in the romance department.
Molly Macomb just wants to take a vacation away from her dull and unlikable life with the vacation her mother paid for. She tells Gavin exactly that, too. She has no notion whatsoever of being anybody's match. She never gets past a first date or do with anybody because of her bluntness and quirky ways. Can these two most unlikely people find love in a week? Tune in and find out.
Jill Kemerer is terrific here. I have read many of her books and didn't know she had such a funny side. Boy, this book was fun to read. Don't miss it. Bravo!
*My thanks to the author for a preview copy of this book. A positive review was not expected and the opinions stated here are entirely my own.
Molly is exhausted of pretending to be someone she’s not and determined to express her true colors during her vacation. Despite every effort to release him from his obligation to her, he seems to accept her—insecurities, quirks, and all.
With help from some meddling aunts, a trashy romance novel with a groan-worthy title, and some island magic, Molly and Gavin just might find what they didn’t know they were looking for. There are lots of laughs in this novella. Yet, among Molly’s brashness, some of the activities, and Gavin’s lighter side, there’s also depth with both these characters discovering truths about their lives, relationships, and dreams.
As a reader, I hope Jill Kemmerer has some more reads with this lighter side in the works.
