This is not ethyl chloride, the spray used for coaches and athletes when suffering injures, is Butane-isobuthane-propane I guess it is safe to use it on your skin, since they are selling it for that purpose , I really do not plan to use it, I did spray a bit on my normal skin and has a cool effect.

I use this product for daily injections and quarterly lab work. It chills on contact and dries instantly and odorlessly, which is especially great for labs. Just a super quick spritz or two or three and the feeling of a needle is greatly (if not completely) minimized. I use it with a drug store brand’s lidocaine spray for pain relief. Oh, it’s also good to use when you need to pre-treat a hang nail or a broken nail with nail clippers.
