Had about 4 Mediabridge cables that worked great with no issues. However I got I fifth one that was defective and would only produce an intermittent connection (tested it multiple times and both connection ends to the source and TV). Tried to return it to discover there is no longer a return policy. Unfortunately that practice loses me a customer for a company that brags so much about the quality of the item. Look for your HDMI cables elsewhere.

I purchased 7 of these cables a while back for a new home theater setup. I had to connect PC’s, game consoles, Blu ray, receiver, while I used a different brand for the 30 ft HDMI I had to run to my 90” LCD. One by one they simply started to fail. The cables looks pristine, they’ve been used in a completely static setup? The system was installed in an in-wall cabinet, and having to replace them was a serious pain. Look elsewhere and don’t fall for the 4.5 star rating. Newer HDMI cables (v2+) are different than the older 1.x spec. Even though nothing changed in my setup, 6 of 7 cables failed. I decided to pull them all after the 6th and replace them with newer cables. I had a combination of 3 & 6 ft, so that about $100 down the drain. Learn from my mistake.

The poorest quality cables , for a product which was supposed to be so great I have ever had the displeasure to purchase. I used the first one and a few days later needed to remove it . The wonderful gold plated connector came off, withno way to reconnect it with the many individual wires in an HDMI cable . When I tried the second one , the exact thing happened again . It has been a long time since I made the purchase , and I should have contacted the seller then , but didn’t. When I did look sometime later, I saw that many others making the purchase had the same problems. To late to complain now , but I was catching up on reviews I needed to do and this one was in the list . I actually don’t believe the Seller is still in business, at least not on Amazon . I have written the price off and made purchases I don’t need to wonder about, as far as their quality goes. Do your research.

4K 60 Hz is no issue; thick gauge quality HDMI

The quality of this cable is very high. It performs perfectly for all of my 4K 60 Hz needs. There is no issue with flickering. The screen never goes blank. There is no information bottleneck with this cable. I say this specifically because that was the problem with the last brand I bought and I spent a long time questioning every other piece of hardware before considering the cable seeing that no other HDMI cable in all of history has ever let me down. CableMatters HDMI cable did.

I am buying another Mediabridge!

It works perfectly! It supports 4K@60Hz from the HDMI 2.0 port on the MSI GAMING GeForce GT 710 2GB GDRR3 64-bit HDCP Support DirectX 12 OpenGL 4.5 Single Fan Low Profile Graphics Card (GT 710 2GD3 LP) on my Windows 8.1 computer to the Optoma UHD50 4K Ultra High Definition Home Theater Projector .

The catch is that only the HDMI 2.0 port can be active to achieve the 60Hz refresh rate at 4K or 2160p. If the DVI port is also connected to a 1080p monitor, the 4K projector only gets 4K@30Hz from the HDMI 2.0 port of the video card.

If you are not getting 4K60Hz as expected, check the limitation of your video card or device. In fact even the older AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable, 25 Feet, 1-Pack can support 4K@60Hz with the same video card and 4K projector combo.

If you're sick of the cable lottery...

This was the 4th HDMI cable I tried to get ARC working between my Vizio P65-F1 and Yamaha TSR-7850. My original cable before I upgraded to the Yamaha worked fine for 4K, but would stutter with ARC. Many people give up on ARC and or CEC, but I refused to believe this shouldn't work. Not wanting to mess around, I purchased a popular Belkin brand that was 3 times the price of this cable. Stutter still there. While I waited for the Mediabridge, I temporarily used a 5 Ft IBRA cable and that worked great (no stutter or cutouts), but too short for my permanent solution.
I bought this cable mainly because of the hand tested claim. YMMV, but instead of doing the cable lottery like I did, order 2 of these cables save some money and be done.

ordered a 10 ft and a 6ft. the 10ft works fine-though I don't have my 4k tv yet so that's a wait and see.
the 6ft cable kept doing small intermittent cutouts, replaced with original hdmi cable- no problems, hooked the mediabridge cable backup and intermittent problems(black screen &/or audio drop) started up again.
have a 6ft monoprice 4k cable that I then hooked up and no problems.
to be clear this was all on a established reg hd setup. 10 ft mediabridge works fine. 6 ft mediabridge cable failed.
apparently returns are not an option- nice backup of product
