About the Author

Carol adopted Nicky when he was a six-week-old kitten and photographed him as soon as she got him home. Nicky loved posing for the camera and routinely walked onto the set as if he owned it. He especially liked being photographed with the musicians and singers whom he regarded as his friends and co-stars. Photographs of him with celebrated figures have appeared in books, magazines, and on CD covers. Just after his twentieth birthday, Nicky left New York to go on the road. He is now touring with his favorite jazz musicians.

Format: Hardcover
This is a good review of the research in biomedical informatics and the issues resolved and questioned by that research. If you are in biomedical informatics, I would recommend that you read this book, and if you teach biomedical informatics this should be a core text.

Format: Hardcover
This book focuses on the current software in use today and its application(s) in Biomedical Informatics. It is by far the best introductory overview and reference for this purpose that I have seen to date.
