"Gaming App of the Day" - [Kotaku]

"Sprinkle is a solid puzzle game in a similar vein as Crush the Castle or Angry Birds, yet carries gameplay and an identity distinct from either." 4/4 Must have - [Slide To Play]

"Wonderful concept, realistic water, adorable aliens, catchy music, satisfying play" 5/5 - [Modojo]

"Sprinkle makes fighting fire with physics (and water, of course) a heck of a lot of fun" 4.5 / 5 - [148Apps]

"The game quickly made its way to every member of my family" - [ArsTechnica]

Using a water cannon mounted on a crane, players must adjust the height and angle of the cannon to fight fires, move obstacles, spin wheels and activate traps in this challenging water-physics based puzzler! But squirt carefully as you will run out of water and the less water you use, the more drops you earn!

Using some of the most realistic water physics seen on a mobile device yet, Sprinkle is a brain-teasing game that will have players straining to figure out each puzzle and obstacle.

Sprinkle features:

Amazing water physics – Some of the most realistic water physics ever seen on a mobile device make Sprinkle an exciting and addictive puzzler.

Brain-teasing puzzles – What starts as simply pointing and spraying to quench each fire becomes much more challenging through the 72 levels, as players must overcome the intricacies of each puzzle before time and water run out.

Blocks, boulders, and cogs oh my – Use the power of your water cannon to move blocks of ice and boulders, spin giant cogs, and depress traps in order to reach and extinguish every last fire.

The inhabitants of Titan, a moon of Saturn, lived out their days peacefully in their straw hut homes – until space tourists from Earth crashed through Saturn’s rings, bringing a storm of flaming asteroids crashing down on the Titans. To combat the widespread fires threatening their homes, the Titans have built a massive water cannon. And they need you to man it!

This game has fun graphics and is exciting (for the 6 year old). It gets progressively harder, so keeps the challenge up. My biggest gripe is that the controls are not intuitive or very responsive. I have trouble adjusting the aim of the water cannon, and the aforementioned 6 year old starts to get very frustrated. I got this game to entertain the 6 year old, not to frustrate her and then me by proxy. Bottom line: cute game, but could use some control improvements.

The game is fun and it, and the graphics are smooth.. but I do not like how you move the head of the fire hose. It is hard to get the head to turn 180 degrees which is needed to advance.

Sprinkle is a physics based game which resembles a top rated game. The physics engine is excellent for what it is though, it seems time management was a burden for the developer. Specifically, the controls lack refinement. I made sure to give this game adequate time to make a fair assessment. Unfortunately, my experience was not unlike many have made note of before me. I found, easily solvable stages became impossible to complete due to the inability to maneuver the water canon with much precision. On many occasions, when I attempted to rotate the canon, I was only able to raise and lower it. Other times, when I meant to raise or lower the canon, it would rotate, instead. If the game weren't played against a clock, I wouldn't have made such a fuss but due to the nature of the game, FIRE, I did. I couldn't justify spending $1.99 on a game with a flaw of this magnitude. It isn't like a sound or instruction issue. The controls are the most important function of this game or pretty much any game. It is a shame I couldn't give this game the proper rating of four or, very possibly, five stars. Instead, I was honest and gave it what it's worth. If you are contemplating the purchase of this game, I recommend contacting the developer and ask if they have corrected the controls issue. This could save you from much frustration. When the problem is finally fixed, this will definitely be a game to waste time on.

I have to agree with those that don't like the controls. There's nothing more frustrating than controls that don't do what you want. You want to more the cannon and it rotates instead. Or, you want to rotate it and it moves up or down. Very frustrating!

This is a nice game that progressively does get challenging. First thing I noticed was the sound of the game, which I liked. The graphics are beautiful as well. Although this isn't a strategy-type game, this game does have a unique concept that keeps your intrigue throughout. It is actually a really run game; however, there are plenty of times that you have to have the exact perfect angle to reach an area. The controls got me a little frustrated at times, so if Mediocre can work on perfecting that, it would make the game that much better.

This game is fun. At first the controls where kinda hard to use but it only takes a few seconds to get used to them. Once you get used to them it's deffinately a game worth buying. This game has many different puzzles that are sometimes head scratchers at first but can be solved quite easy when you really look at it. I think $1.99 is a reasonable price for this game if you don't manage to get it while it's the free app of the day. Hope this helps. Thanks for reading.
