Craig Roberts is a retired career law enforcement officer, having served 27 years with the Tulsa Police Department. He is a United States Marine Vietnam veteran, and an investigative journalist and author or co-author over over 20 books and dozens of magazine articles. He also retired from the Army Reserve in 2006 as a lieutenant colonel, Infantry and Intelligence branches, after 30 total years service (US Marines and US Army). He lives with his wife and two dogs in the Ozark hills of northeastern Oklahoma where he teaches civilian, law enforcement, and military firearms courses on his private range. He was the only Tulsa Police Officer assigned to the Oklahoma City bombing case.

I seldom write reviews for books, but this one deserves attention. It REALLY opened my eyes to some of the behind the scenes facts about the Oklahoma City bombing, and the entanglements involved. There is not enough space here for me to elaborate, but there was WAAAY more involved than one lone nut job bomber. I'm 70 years old and consider myself well informed, but this book exposed a wealth of information to show me how little I know about the "Big Picture" of what goes on behind the scenes in our government. I highly recommend this book to everyone that wants to become better informed.

I would recommend this book to anyone who desires a more comprehensive understanding of what really happened that fateful day in Oklahoma City. After reading this I'm convinced of the need to reopen the case and impanel a Federal Grand Jury to view the evidence.

At the end, after reading about "suicides" intimidation of witnesses whose only crime was seeing something different from the narrative I'm convinced Timothy McVeigh had a lot of help and it was done to destroy evidence that was embarrassing to someone high up the food chain so to speak.
