I'm quite literally blown away by the talent this young band possesses. I happened upon them by accident at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I heard an amazing cover of Santana's "Black Magic Woman" being played and to my absolute surprise I found these three young kids tearing it up. I couldn't take my eyes off of them. From Santana to the Beatles to The Rolling Stones the classic rock tunes just kept coming and they sounded incredible. The level of musicianship these boys have is truly noteworthy. I tip my hat to them over many of the other current pop stars that have our children are obsessed with because these guys are the real deal. They play their own instruments and they play them very well. I was very happy to hear that they write their own music as well. Their songs are so surprisingly catchy that even as someone who would never listen to someone like Justin Bieber found myself completely enthralled with their songwriting. I can't wait to hear the recorded versions of the rest of their originals. If you're ever in the Santa Monica area you should definitely try to see if they are performing at the Promenade. Although I'm definitely not the target audience for this band, I think it says something that someone of my age can find them so entertaining. I feel that they would have a very strong appeal to people of all ages, so I'll end this by saying that you should definitely shell out the $4 for this great set of tunes by what I think is a very promising young band that we will be seeing much more of in the future.
