David Jefferis started his publishing career in the news media, where he produced award-winning art and information graphics for magazines and newspapers such as the London 'Observer.'

His first three books were linked as a series called 'World of the Future' and written with his tech guru partner on the project, Kenneth Gatland. Many of the predictions have since come true, and more recently, visuals from 'Future Cities' were on show at the IBM Centennial in New York.

David's space book 'Galaxies and Quasars' won the Times Educational Supplement Prize, while 'Science Discovery' won 'Best Science Books of the Year,' another milestone moment.

Today, David produces science books and creates new art and photography. His latest project is the online magazine 'Blaze Science and Sci-fi' which provides readers with news and information.
