I got it filled at a florist. It is pretty big so it is hard to handle when full of helium, so I brought a bedsheet with me to the florist--I wrapped the sheet around the filled blimp and carried it by the four corners of the sheet, which also helped weigh it down until I got it home. If you let it go before attaching the gondola, it goes up FAST! We have really high ceilings, so (after learning my lesson) I tied a piece of fishing line (cut from a line included in the set) to the gondola, and now if it's stuck on the ceiling I can just reach up to grab the string. For extra weight, to achieve neutral buoyancy, you put pennies in slots in the gondola.
The 9-V battery for the RC controller was dead, but I had some new 9-V batteries. The battery that goes in the gondola is a strange size and non-rechargeable, but has lasted for a few days so far. I'm sure I can find a new one at Radio Shack or something when the time comes.
The best part is the lights! You can switch the lights to different settings from the remote control. It was so cool because me and my friends flew it around my house at night and scared our parents LOL It was funny. I didn't try the other blimp yet. It comes with 2 blimps that you can change back and forth. It's really easy to control except for if there is a fan on cause that make wind and it's hard to control.
I love this blimp!
They're not very durable and avoid very sticky tape, but we had a lot of fun building and deploying these toys!
They went together easily and worked as designed. They're vulnerable to any wind though and care should be taken when using these. The motor's not very powerful and any wind is likely to send it off course.
We used tape and string to bond both balloons together for added lift and hung the "helmet" camera from the gondola for a neat video!

It was fun for a couple hours, but 2 days later balloon deflated, on-off switch on the gondola fell inside and top peace of antenna broke off (made of low quality steel).Published on August 27, 2010 by Dmitry Medvedev
The controller began to smoke as soon as the battery was inserted. We tried a new battery but the controller
never worked again. We have'nt been able to use the toy yet. Read more

This product was fun for the first 2 weeks.. The helium stayed it in for about 2 weeks. i would recommend using tape to enforce the gondola. Read morePublished on August 22, 2009 by Ga girl
I think that the blimp was flawed from the beginning. I purchased it as a gift for my little brother. Read morePublished on January 11, 2009 by L. Reed
It comes with no instructions. The blimp was destroyed instantly when we tried to reposition the gondola - it is taped directly to the ballon and does not come off easily. Read morePublished on December 30, 2006 by Michael Fanning
