Bought this to take care of my new leather interior of my BMW and my old Honda.

Pros:

1. Cleans and conditions. You don't need to buy two separate products for each.

2. Leaves leather with a rich luster without being too shiny and refective like Armorall.

3. NO greasy residue or greasy finish. It dries clear.

Cons:

If you use it on cheaper leather seats, it makes the seats very slippery.
I used this on a 2008 Honda and it's almost comical how I slip and slide around the seat after using this product.

On softer leathers like in a BMW, it just cleans and conditions without being slippery.

Bottom Line:

Great for leather interiors but would not use this again on leather seats in cheaper cars.

Having researched leather cleaners for the seats in my Lexus ES 350, I choose Meguiar's Gold. As instructed, I sprayed it directly on my seats and wiped off with a clean, white towel. The seats came clen with very little effort. I am delighted with the product. Just be careful when you spray because it leaves residue on concole and metal detail.

I've used this product on my 2008 Audi A4 a couple of times now and I'm pleased with it. I bought it based on the recommendation of other Audi owners and I'm glad I took the suggestion, it's really made my leather seats look great. I don't care for the smell though. It's very much a chemical odor for two or maybe three days after application. Only time will tell if it'll do a good job protecting the seats from Arizona's sun. (Seems like any used car I've seen in AZ that's 2005 or older has cracked leather - then again I bet none of those folks did anything to protect the seats!)

The only slightly negative aspect to this spray is that my seats are pretty slippery for at least several days after use, some people suggest that it's because of "cheap" leather seats (I don't have the high-end Recaro leather) so perhaps that's not anything having to do with Meguiar's spray itself. Our only other vehicle with "leather" is a Honda Accord (and if I remember correctly the brochure called the seats leatherette, likely meaning fake leather), so I imagine those seats also will be slick after use too.

All-in-all I'd recommend Meguiar's, it's a reputable brand and inexpensive when bought here on Amazon. Definitely better than having a car wash do your seats with some random product!

Edit: March 30th, 2014:

It seems like the product might've been reformulated. It works just as well as ever but has a different smell now. I don't really know how to describe the scent but it's reasonably pleasant. Also, be sure to give the bottle a good shake before using!

I saw an article where you used hair clippers to "shave" off places where bad kitties clawed leather furniture and then sprayed and wiped in Meguiar's on it to render the scratches virtually invisible and by George, it worked! I used this on all of our leather items in the house and in the car now and could not be more pleased with the results!

I used this product on the Silk Nappa Leather seats in my 2015 Audi S4. I bought this product mostly to clean but I liked the added benefit of it also being a conditioner. However, as others have already mentioned, this is more of a conditioner than a cleaner. Also, contrary to what it says on the bottle, this product makes your leather very greasy, almost to the point of being slippery.

If you like your leather looking shiny, then this product is for you. However, here are couple of tips :
1) Be careful not to splash the product onto other unintended areas, such as the side plastic/vinyl surfaces. As I've mentioned, this product leaves surfaces looking very shiny/greasy. After using it on my seats, the next day I found splotches and spots all over the vinyl surfaces reminiscent of oil spots.
2) Make sure to cover the ENTIRE seat, including all the folds and crevices. Otherwise you will be left with a two-tone, splotchy looking mess.

If you have already used this product and do not like to look, I found that Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner works great for cleaning off the product. When I found my seats and other interior surfaces looking greasy and spotty the next day, I thought I had ruined them forever. But I was so relieved to find the Quik Interior Detailer make quick work of removing the oily spots.

In hindsight, I should have known that most of today's automotive leathers come with plastic top coating, so applying a conditioner does little to nothing. I would suggest, especially to other Audi owners with Nappa leather, to just skip the conditioner part and use a standalone cleaner. I recommend Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer as it leaves no shiny residue, streaks or spots.

I bought a brand new BMW X1 a month ago and thought ivory leather was a good idea when I wear jeans every day. Needless to say, I'm cleaning the seats every weekend. I had been using Lexol and it worked great, but it's so time consuming. I took my car in to the BMW service center to have a flat tire fixed and asked what they recommend to clean it with. The service manager said they sell BMW branded cleaners, but that the Meguiar's works better. It was so quick and easy to clean and didn't make the leather gross. I may use the Lexol for a monthly deep clean, but plan on using this every few days.
