Quality control lacking!

Update, bunny number two arrived, looks way worse than the first one, his head is permanently stitched on looking straight up and untrimmed fur around the face, we are officially done with Mellisa and Doug products.

Not good, definitely not worth the 13 bucks, I'd pay 5 tops after seeing what you get. Close to carnival / circus quality here, I regret my purchase now.

First off they claim 14". 14" from where to where? The bunny sitting on our shelving measures 9" tall, with the ears extended its 13". So where they come up with 14" is beyond me.

Second both arms are permanently stitched to the far right and won't hang straight at all. It looks like he is pointing at something (see photo).

Third there is a small hole in his right armpit the size of your pinky finger.

Finally the "fur" material is not consistent around the nose/mouth and all four paws, its missing some obvious little chunks of his fur.

It's a stuffed animal, how hard can it be to produce? With this many issues I'm embarrassed for Melissa &Doug products.

This bunny is described as "plush and floppy" in the product description, but it definitely is not. It's small and stiff. Upon opening it I was completely disappointed as the item I received looks very little like the pictures on this page. Another reviewer said its body is filled with beans, but the product I got is completely filled with stuffing to the point that its appendages stick straight out. The head is more elongated than rounded. It's just not cuddly. Its fur is much sparser than the product image's. The only reason I'm keeping it is it was a gift for my 2 year old's upcoming 3rd birthday and she was there when I opened it and snatched it up and loves it (she didn't know it was coming and had no expectations of it). If I could go back I'd definitely skip this purchase and go with another Cloud B stuffie as those are absolutely floppy, soft, cuddly, and good quality.

**Update** A month or so after this arrived, the newness wore off and now my daughter refuses to cuddle this stuffy. She insists on sleeping with the old, ratty lamb from Cloud B with the matted fur. haha I can't say that this was an okay purchase as it just sits in the corner unloved.

Not Safe For Young Children

It's soft and adorable but for whatever reason, it joins the ranks of plush toys that now have those stupid, STUPID beads in the bottom. It needs to show in the description that those are there because I do not want to give a child anything that contains a choking hazard like that and I additionally think it severely detracts from the cuddle factor. I have passed over a dozen bunnies because of this feature and was NOT expecting to run into it in this one. VERY disappointed - and I don't have time to return it before it's needed tomorrow.

Though cute, this bunny disappointed me as it, in no way, resembles the size it appears to be in the cute girl's arm in the ad. Still it was all I had for my granddaughter's Easter basket the day beforehand, (we had been out-of-town when it arrived) and so I used it. The height of it is actually 9 1/2" from it sits to the top of its head. (The legs do not extend.) The one in the girl's arms must be a much larger other model--and the headline that says "14 inches" needs to be corrected.
The photo below shows the albeit cute bunny sitting next to the Easter basket which is 6" high not counting the handle.

Very poor quality. I guess it looks a little like the picture...they got the color right. The head is misshapen, the eyes are crooked, and it doesn't sit up. It's going back. I have found that even Melissa & Doug wooden toys are not near the quality that they used to be. This is proof that all their items are now lacking in quality.

Best Bunny Ever!

Absolutely love this bunny. I bought this bunny from a toy store for my son when he was 9 months old for Easter. I went back a few months later and purchased a second one. My son is not 27 months and he loves this bunny so much, he sleeps with it, uses it as a pillow. He cannot sleep w/o him. We took a trip and accidently left bunny in the overhead bin on the airplane, worst night ever as we didn't bring backup bunny. Once we came back to town I went back to the toy store to look for a replacement and they didn't have any more...so I looked at the tag on the Bunny that we did have, very worn out but I was able to read the numbers and that it was a Melissa and Doug bunny and I found it here on Amazon. The difference between the new and used Bunny is so striking, but my son was so happy to see this bunny and we were so glad to again have a backup bunny. We wash these bunnies all the time and they are still wonderful as ever.

I bought this for my granddaughter this Easter. She has a lot of bunnies, but judging from the picture, this one looks more "cute". Standard Prime shipping, which is always fantastic and the bunny was well packaged.

The bunny is not quite like the one you see in the picture. When you set it in it's rear, it doesn't matter how you angle it, it's always looking up and not straight ahead. The fur is not quite as fluffy and the face of the bunny is rather long (at least, the one that I received). It's arms are sewn so that they are reaching up all the time rather then hanging down (as seen on the sale page)

I probably would have been more disappointed if I had bought this for someone other than my 20 month old granddaughter. Fortunately, she loves him just as much as she would have if he looked exactly like he does on the website, so that's all that matters to me.

I think they need to QC these little guys a bit better before sending them out the door. Not a terrible buddy, but don't expect to set him up like he looks in the picture.
