This Teddy bear is huge! It is perfect for my 2 1/2 year old who got it from Santa for Christmas. She loves to sit in his lap while we read bedtime stories. My daughter loves plush things, so I got her this bear for Christmas. As soon as she saw it (big red bow around the neck under the tree) she laughed and LUNGED for it. Since then, she plays with it everyday, drinks her bottle and reads books on its lap, and constantly snuggles it. She's always falling on it, sitting on it, crawling on top of it. Its pretty soft, not the plushiest stuffed toy ever, but pretty good. One problem I've notices is that I've found a few pieces of the fur on the floor, but I think this is because my kid can be a bit rough when she tackles it.

We are happy, however, the bear is a little cheaply made. I chose to believe the better reviews and purchase this bear, but my opinion falls somewhere in between. The bear is ok. I found a really cute and squishy HUGE bear at Walgreens though for $15.00 so I feel kinda stupid for spending $50 some for this bear seeing as it isn't really any superior quality.

I have no idea who Melissa and Doug are. I assume that they must be Teddy Bear manufactures who have a lot of Multi-Cultural Children. However, I can say they do make a fine giant stuffed Teddy Bear.

I ordered this for my girlfriend for Valentines Day, hoping the overall size would make her friends incredibly jealous. It worked wonderfully. This giant stuffed bear stands at around 3 feet, and yes, is very soft and cuddly. I would recommend it to anyone looking to really wow their significant other on a special day. For the price, this teddy bear was a fantastic purchase.

It arrived well packaged, very quickly due to my amazon prime. A very straight foreward purchase for a good product.

I purchased this bear as one of my proposal props for my now fiance. She loves her bear! You can recline up against it or set it up in a chair to chill out as bears do. The order shipped promptly and arrived in great condition. I smiled when I pulled it out of the box... It was perfect! Great value. Bigger than I expected. The only negative is that some small pieces of fur fall out on occasion. I suppose most bears shed some hair once in a while. =)

I bought two, one for my mom and one for my girlfriend. After inspecting the bears, I don't get the other comments about the two left arms, the arms seem the same, but fine. My main concern is that it is already shedding. From the moment we took the plastic off of it we could pinch the fur and it would slide right out. Also, it's not that soft. I've seen only slightly smaller stuffed animals at walmart and target for about half of the price.

I would venture to say that this plush isn't for kids. I think kids would have it bald in a few months. This plush would be far more suited sitting nicely on a made bed or on display in some other fashion. If you want something for your kid, I would suggest just going to wal*mart.

3 Stars for fun - like i said, fun to look at, not fun to play with
1 star for educational - how would it be? bear anatomy?
3 stars for durability - the stitching and all seems fine for now. just sheds a bit
4 stars overall - because i don't think the other questions applied to what i bought the bears for

We bought this for our two year old for Christmas. It is the perfect size and he loves it. It is durable and very soft. The only thing we noticed was that the color was a lot darker than in the photo. Here it is a light brown. The one that arrived is a dark brown and the fur looks different. Either way, our son loves it so we kept it.
