THESE STICKERS ARE AWESOME!! I bought this pad after reading some mommy blog about traveling and how helpful stickers were. I bought a cheap sticker pad at Target to take on the plane, but my daughter kept wanting to stick them on the seat, window, etc. Before the next flight, I bought this pad. WHAT A LIFESAVER! I thought these were just removable as in not super-sticky, but they're static cling, so my kiddo could stick 'em all over the airplane window and peel 'em right off! And since there are literally hundreds of stickers, this kept her entertained for at least an hour if not two. And she continued her enjoyment of them in our hotel room.My only complaint would be how big the pad is. It juuuust barely fit in my carry-on bag. If it was more like letter-sized paper, that'd be more convenient... although less room on the page for sticking stickers, but I'd take it.Awesome product!

Absolutely awesome product! I had forgotten the price I paid for these until I was going through my order history - I am flabbergasted at the value you get with this product. These are not stickers - they are more like Colorforms. Every scene comes with a ton of detailed pieces to add to the scene. These have provided countless hours of entertainment for my 3 and 6 year old. Melissa & Doug products are always high quality and this is no exception. The one warning I will provide is that these are large - I think they measure 11 x 17. I wanted them for traveling - 17 hours of plane travel and a week in a residence with no children's play things, but I had to get a little creative to get them in the kids back packs. I purchased a poly envelope with a Velcro close and then folded each scene in half. I removed the outline of the "stickers" and then folded each sticker sheet in half. With the outline removed, I was able to re-position the stickers so none of them were folded in half, which makes them hard to position. The scenes and stickers can both be wiped down in the event they get sticky. Awesome product that has stood the test of time - they are almost a year old and still provide entertainment!

I bought these for my daycare kids and they are so cute and they had so much fun. Would be something to take on a long car ride in place of cellphones but my only recommendation is if it's for little kids rip off the plastic around the stickers first. Some of the stickers stuck to that and if they weren't careful the stickers would have ripped so I ripped the whole sticker scraps off and not only did it make getting the stickers off now super easy but they didn't have to worry the exact spot they went in and could place them anywhere on the page.

When I was a kid, and you wanted a re-usable sticker type toy, there were Colorforms. My children were young, there were still just Colorforms. Now that I have grandchildren, there are so many more choices. My re-usable sticker of choice is now by Melissa and Doug.

These are great kits with fully colorful back grounds and loads and loads of re-usable stickers. We are using standard stickers as a reward in potty training (he gets one on his hand or shirt.) For regular sticker play, we wanted something different and having it be re-usable makes it more cost effective.

I've picked up a couple of sets with My Town being the first one. We have fun playing with the various backgrounds and making up stories about what is happening as my grandson places his stickers around the scene. He's 2 years and 8 months old and this is helping him with fine motor skills, visual recognition, and verbal skills (as he tells his story.) It's both great fun and a great learning toy at a great price.

We LOVE these sticker books. We got the "Under the Sea" set for my 18 month old for a plane ride, and it has been a hit for over a year. The stickers stick well to the pages provided, to windows (at the airport), to mirrors (in her play area), to the fridge (while we're cooking), and inside board books (at the dinner table/car/plane).

TAKE A LOOK AT THE STICKER SIZES
We recently bought the "My town" set, but don't like it nearly as much because some of the stickers are really small and have thin parts that make it harder to manipulate. For the "Under the Sea" pack, the smallest stickers were coins or fish about the size of a nickel, but My Town has things like wheel-y chairs, with spokes and wheels coming off the bottom, or a stove-top spoon(?) about the size of a small paperclip. Since our daughter sometimes tries to put stickers in her mouth, I'm worried I could loose sight of these. Overall, didn't like the My Town pack.

GREAT FOR AIRPORT / PLANE RIDES
Some reviewers mention the large size of the play pages, and that they rip. Yup - both of these are true. However, we just took a few of these, folded them in half and stuck them in an Amazon sleeve with some stickers for the plane. Since you don't really need these sheets to have fun with the stickers, it hasn't bothered us at all.
