GENERAL: My snakes did not come with little snake tongues out like in this picture. These snakes are rigid, not floppy, but can be bent a little. The bottoms of the snakes are complete - meaning they have molded snake bellies, not just flat plastic or hollowed in like some of the rigid plastic snakes are.
PLAYTIME: My son only got to pick 1 of these snakes, as I used the rest for a craft project. He picked the tiny blue one. So far I am pretty sure these snakes are indestructible lol, he has wore that little one out and it still looks pretty great. It has been heavily chewed on and there are barely any teeth marks visible.
MY USE/CRAFTING: I bought this sack of snakes after much searching for the perfect snakes to make a Spring wreath. I was following an online tutorial, and the author's wreath actually uses these exact snakes on it. They work great for this purpose, because they are a more rigid plastic but do have a little give to them so you can form them to a wreath. The plastic is hard enough that if you accidentally touch the nib of a hot glue gun to them, they do not melt on contact. They are also already in nice Spring colors, so I didn't have to paint them like I would a more traditionally colored rubber snake. 2 of the snakes in the set are even in a nice spiral shape which is great for this project. Again I can attest to the durability of these toys, the snakes have been hanging over a month at full mercy of the elements with no visible damage. The sun shines directly on the wreath for several hours a day and there has been no fading whatsoever thus far.
