So grandmas really gets a workout in the pool chasing after these fish. They slowly sink to the bottom of the pool and of course have a way of gradually migrating to the deep end; however, my grandson really seems to get a big kick out of repeatedly throwing these things back into the pool and watching his grandma flail about try to retrieve them before they sink and have to be picked up by her toes. "Ha ha ha ha grandma!" Great fun unless you were hoping to supervise your grandchild from your lounge chair with a gin and tonic in hand.

They sank to the bottom which made it nearly impossible for the child to scoop (using the shark) the little fish. When purchased I believed the fish would float allowing the child to scoop-up (using the shark) the fish.

I bought these for my grandchildren that are almost 5 years old. They are good swimmers and can retrieve sunken toys from 4ft Of water. What I dislike is that the fish sink and immediately Drift to the floor of the 8 foot section of the pool. The children cannot dive that deep so the adults are constantly having to pull fish out. To keep the fish accessible for the children I put tiny balloons inside the fish and blew it up. Now they float on top of the pool all the time. I wish they made them in a way that they sank A lot slower.
