This has got to be one of my favorite Melissa and Doug toys. We own many of them, and big sister picked this for a little sister this Christmas. There may have been some ulterior motives there. However I’m very satisfied with this toy. We absolutely love it! In fact, I have to put it away every day. It has a wooden case so pick-up is quick and easy. My girls love playing with each other, and there are enough pieces that there aren’t any battles.

All of the pieces link together. No magnets, It’s simply a peg system that allows the scoop to pick up the ice cream and then a hole in the top to hold the toppings. We have other Melissa and Doug ice cream sets, this is by far our favorite.

I can’t say enough good things about this adorable product. I recommend you purchase it for your little kitchen helpers. I love that it comes with cones, a cup, different varieties of ice cream and lots of toppings. The little menu also helps us with our math lessons on occasion. A+ toy! Definitely worth the money!

I cannot say enough good things about this product! It is perfect. The quality is top notch. Each of the pieces is perfectly shaped and fits well into each other to stack easily and, surprisingly, sturdy as well. The little menu is high quality and even allows you to write with dry erase markers to select items. My children have so much fun playing store with this. This is easily hours of fun for kiddos who like to engage in pretend play. The set even comes with a little taster spoon and lots of cute toppings. It also includes pretend money that is not cheaply made, withstands the test of a two year old! I would recommend this product for sure. So cute, even parents will want to try!

We purchased this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it! We have always been fans of Melissa and Doug products because they are well made and last longer then some other pretend toys. It really is an adorable set and I do believe it would work for both younger and older children. The scoop actually grabs on to the ice cream which my daughter loves. The menu is a plastic material and will last. It comes with pretend money and prices on the menu, so it is helpful for some basic math as well. My daughter asked for an ice cream cart for Christmas and I came across this. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was for the price. We purchased the set prior to Christmas for under $23 and I now see it's selling for over $47. I do understand we bought it near Black Friday, so I assume that is the reason for the steep discount, however, I don't think I could have shelled out $50 for it otherwise even thought it's adorable.

Wow. I bought this because my 3 year old granddaughter picked it out in a promotional magazine. She loves to shop and then expects grandma to buy... So I bought it because it's not that expensive and gave it to her as a gift. She was thrilled!

But what thrilled me is that her mom leaves it out in the living room because the little one plays with it CONSTANTLY! I can't believe it but, 6 months later, she still loves it and plays with it as much as when it was new. Everyone gets a daily cone. Visitors must order what they want. And she still plays with it on her own.

Plus, we all pay with the cash. She tells us how much we owe - $1 for each scoop plus $1 for a topping. She figures the cost on her own and knows when she's been given the correct amount.

This gift turned out to be a way better purchase than I ever expected it to be.

The little details are awesome. There's a sneeze-guard, a little spoon, two kinds of cones, and all the pieces store neatly in the ice cream counter itself. By far the most fun and least annoying toy that we have in the house. :)

This is the cutest toy! After 4 kids we've had too many toys, and I'm surprised at how entertaining an ice cream stand can be for both kids and adults. The scoop really works to pick up the scoops of ice cream and place them in the cones or cup. There is a generous amount of ice cream flavors and toppings, and the little spoon, menu and stand itself are way too cute. This is one of the few toys that I can honestly say is fun for all of my kids, ages 7 months - almost 7 years old. Perfect for boys and girls and worth every penny.

We bought this at Christmas for our 2 and 9 year old's. They loved it! It seems to be one of those toys everyone wants to play with too, whenever friends are over. I've even caught adults visiting my house checking it out! Haha! Seems to be sturdy and so far is lasting. Only problem we've had it when one little girl visiting noticed you can push the toppings down on the ice cream hard to make a squeaking noise. All the kids started doing it and now, the toppings sometimes get stuck on too tight for my toddler to pull off on her own.
Really wished they had included a couple extra accessories. Like it only comes with 1 bowl and 1 spoon, but there are 2 cones. Would have really made it that much more great to include just a bit more for the price. Overall though, this toy has really been worth the steeper price tag it has.

Les glaces, les coulis, les cornets, la coupe et tous les ustensiles sont de très bonne qualité, bien réalisés et vraiment beaux. Mon fils de 2,5 ans joue au glacier, nous demande ce qu'on veut sur le menu et s'amuse à réaliser notre commande. Il l'a reçu il y a seulement 3 jours donc je ne peux pas encore évaluer la durabilité et la robustesse mais ça a l'air solide, c'est en bois! Et depuis 3 jours je mange des glaces à longueur de journée ;-) Vraiment je ne m'attendais pas à cette qualité. Les glaces s'enclenchent facilement au système de la cuillère à glaces pour être déposée sur le cornet, ça permet à l'enfant de se concentrer, de travailler sa motricité et sa logique puisqu'il peut assembler ce qu'il voit au menu. Je ne regrette pas cet achat.

This is just the best toy! We have had it for three months now. My children are always playing with it (ages 3 and 6). Whenever another child comes to play, it is always a hit. It’s really good quality, which is usually the case with Melissa and Doug, but I would say this is definitely one of their sturdier pieces. No chips in the paint at all. My kids just can’t get enough of it. It’s beautiful and I don’t mind having it right out in the living room. It was a really great value too.
