The cd does not attached with the side paper ( label ).
Also, the sample shows a paper cd case. However, what I receive is not a paper cd case.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

In Asia, Europe and Latin America this movie is a blockbuster. In the late 60's and early 70's, Bee Gees had hits over hits all over the world except America until "Saturday Night Fever" made them big in the US. The popularity of this "Melody" soundtrack in Asia is similar to that of "Saturday night fever" soundtrack in 1977. The film starts with the title song "In the morning"(also knows as "Morning of my life"), follows by "To love somebody", "First of May" and "Melody Fair". And the rarity is "Give the best", which is only available here in this soundtrack album, Crosby, Still, Nash and Young's "Teach your children" and Richard Hewson's score as bonus. DVD is available now, but beware, from the US customers' review, the US version (http://www.amazon.com/Melody-Mark-Lester/dp/B001BPJJ1E/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1298012703&sr=1-1) is inferior to the UK version which is available at Amazon.co.uk.(http://www.amazon.co.uk/Melody-DVD-Jack-Wild/dp/B002VD5SA6/).

I watched this movie when I was 12 years old. And the message about how love should be shown and be felt was so innocent, so believable, so impeccable that back then I felt I could just love anybody. Just a great feeling from a different time. The funny thing about this movie was that I was talking to this friend of mine. She was telling me the story and I told her if the name of the movie was MELODY. She jumped out of her chair and freaked out. The reason was that none of the friends she had talked about the movie had seen it, or even had heard of it. So It was one of those things that happened once in a lifetime. I wonder if someone knows where I could find the videotape. If you have any info about how to purchase a copy, please contact me as soon as possible.

Today, November 29, 2007, I found and bought the movie MELODY (a.k.a. SWALK - Sealed With A Loving Kiss) 1971 for $29.00 (new and in DVD format) at [...] They also offer it in VHS format for $25.00. I had been looking for this movie on and off for years (wonderful film - great music.) I hope that this tip was helpful! Cheers - enjoy!!!

"Melody" (DVD) with Mark Lester is now available at amazon.co.jp at Yen 3,800. The soundtrack CD is also available at the same website. For those who cannot read Japanese, do not worry, you just need to sign in and follow the same instruction as in any amazon.com sites.

I saw this film in 1971 14 times. I fell in love with Mark Lester and spent 6 weeks trying to find out where he lived. (I succeeded and it was amazing to see him come to the door and greet us!)
My friend and I were only 11 at the time.
The film is a classic, a story of first love and all the emotion that stems from that. The music is great, it suits the film perfectly and I bought the album (again) from a record fair a few years ago for £5. I also have it on video.
I have really strong memories of the 1970's and this film will always be very very special to me. I have also been to most of the locations where the film was shot, so I am a true addict.
It is sweet and innocent and the whole cast inc. parents and teachers were just fantastic.
'In the morning' 'Melody Fair' and 'First of May' are all fab, but then the whole soundtrack is and I am biased - so there!
I LOVE IT!

Such a lovely music for a really sensitive picture. Nice news is that the latter now exists in a new gorgeous dvd transfer.

To the people requesting info on where to get this movie. You should go to an auction site like ebay.com, they always have the movie used in VHS format. At this very moment (Friday-feb-27-2004)they have three or four copies auctioned.
On the other hand, this CD and the movie are really great. The movie is by far the best movie I've ever seen in my whole life, and the music composed by the BG's is an early sample of the greatness to come.

Took me back!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 20, 2012
My, this takes me back a few decades! I was at the end of my teens, went to see the film having enjoyed Lester and Wild in Oliver, and was really taken with it.
Somewhere I still have the vinyl LP for the Melody soundtrack, bought when the film (titled S.W.A.L.K. in the UK) came out in 1971, and mainly for the track 'In the Morning (of My Life)' by the Bee Gees, which I loved then and still do now: a gorgeous little song written originally in 1965 when they were still in Australia, but I only heard it -- and therefore this version of it -- when the film came out. I believe they quite often sang it live in the original acoustic format, and several clips can be seen on YouTube; but for the Melody soundtrack they re-recorded it with an orchestral arrangement, paced slightly differently and with their voices sounding "richer": for me it's far and away the best version, which is why I particularly wanted it in a form I could enjoy again. (Should say I bought this new from an Amazon seller just over a year ago for about £20 -- still an import CD, but about half the price it's being offered at by Amazon itself at the moment.)
Other Bee Gree tracks are 'Melody Fair', 'To Love Somebody', 'Give your Best' and 'First of May' (plus 'Spicks and Specks' but not sung by them); and for good measure there's 'Teach your Children' by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Most of the rest of the tracks are instrumental versions of these songs.
Have just ordered the DVD of the film to see how it now stands up against my memories of it!
