My Thoughts...

This was a well written good read that this author gives to the readers. Thank God Melody had a Kiel in her life, however, will Kiel be able to saved Melody from herself? The main questions is why did Melody act the way she did and what was behind all of this? Melody was truly the love of Kiel's life and when it may have seemed that she did not care for herself Kiel never lost hope that he would always be their for her...'the love of his life... His Melody' As the reader reads through this story one can see that poor Melody had problems that started in her early childhood that seemed so very unimportant to her mother. Now, why was this kept such a big secret? Read this story and you will soon find out why Melody felt so damaged with much of her life! This definitely had me thinking what kind of mother is this person! As one reads this story closely one can see why Melody was feeling so broken and thinking of Kiel as.... "HE CAN DO BETTER?" It seems like even though Melody had some good friends...it was Kiel, her husband who was their for her through the thick and thin of it all and not wanting to give up on her. It seems like her past that she had endured early in her life was still with her as a adult and causing all kinds of problems for this married couple. I liked how this author brought in all the help for Melody through the therapist, friends and oh yes there was Kiel...all who were right their with her all the way to the end never giving up on her. I loved that ending.... for that was quite a surprise! To me I thought this author did a excellent job it bringing out this story so well to the readers. Yes, we had a broken person and with the help of God and I liked the scriptures that were presented, friends that remained with Melody [Angelique...Jelly, Erin & Josaline] through it all and then as always their was Kiel. The author gives the reader one rich emotional read that will give the reader much thought long after the read especially after finding out what all Melody had been through up to this point in her life. I loved the read and the characters were off the chart...all well developed, defined and believable giving the reader a good read.

So mel is the only female by this author that i was about to not like because of how she was being to keil. I get what she was going through and having a mother like Linda will mess up your head. But she should have let him help her get better and be better than her mom. Glad her husband is divorcing her she needs it an I hope he cut her off from his money thats what made her. Glad keil didn't give up on her even through he gave in but not like she wanted. The end was so good I liked what he did for her to show her that she mattered and was loved

So there's a subplot involving the best friend that I just couldn't get into. I was already too emotional involved with Mel and Kiel so I found myself skipping the best friend to find out what was going on with Mel. At first I really identified with the character Mel and her feelings on certain subjects. Enough to rate it a 4, but as it went on I started to hate her. Mostly because Kel is to perfect for her to be acting this crazy, fears or not. Spoiler alert - - -> My last straw was when she accused him of cheating. You got to want the girl to win the guy and at that point I wanted him to divorce her. But I do love books by this author. So id read more from her this was just a no from me. Mel seemed to have every issue under the book and he was a saint to be with her.

I could not put this book down. His Melody was an Awesome Read. I started the book and found myself reading it at every stop light while driving to work. Kiel loves him some Melody. While reading I experienced every emotion known. Melody made me want to shake her at moments in this book as well as "Heavy Love," but after finding out what she's been through I understood. I cried, laughed, got angry and was shocked and everything else. Franco & Angelique are great together. The ending was a surprise to me. If you want a book that you can enjoy all the way through and feel like that you are apart of the story, then His Melody is the book for you.
Amarie Avant is a talented author and I know each time I purchase her books. I know that is something that I will fall in love with and will want to read over and over again!

The story of Kiel and Melody is one deep love, pain and betrayal and forgiveness. Melody is a complicated woman who has the undying and unconditional love of her husband. This was a very emotionally troubled woman suffering from a very serious health issues. His Melody was an emotional roller coaster and had so many twists that kept the readers on an emotional high. I loved that Kiel was not a guy that ran from a very frustrating woman, he stood by her through thick and thin. Kiel was a real man's man and the love he display for his Melody is the type of love that most people only dream of in a lifetime. Amarie Avant has written an amazing book and I highly recommend buying and reading His Melody.

You have out done yourself. Don't want to give it away for anyone who has not read it yet but there are so many twists and developments that I did not see coming. I am so happy for Kiel and Melody. I did not think we would get there. It was a roller coaster ride. Being a counselor myself I would have like to know if there was a history of sexual abuse for Mel's mom. I know we can't out everything in these stories or they would never end. Amarie you keep impressing me with your writing. Thanks for another great read.

Wow! Kiel is the true meaning of devoted. Mel went through a very difficult experience along with the most absent parents. If Jelly had not found out about what was going on, I'm sure things would have ended totally different. Which is why I'm sure Mel told the passive friend. I love Mel. Her mother on the other hand is the one that needed her ass beat..but I digress. I enjoyed this book like all Amarie Avant's other books. Now waiting for Covet! !

This book will take you on a journey of self discovery and overcoming pain from the past. Melody feels like she's not worthy of love and happiness, that she just needs to go through life on her own with just herself and her numbers. That is until Kiel comes into her life and imposes on her his love and support. Kiel helps Nelody come out of her shell a little but not enough for Melody to ok with herself. Angelique and Franco makes an appearance as well, which is a great surprise. To find out if Melody will allow Kiel to help her feel like herself again, you have to get this book. You won't be disappointed, it's a must read.
