Oh I love Zach and Shane. They are so much fun and I love when they get together. Although once again Noah rears his nasty head and I still want to throat punch the little turd. Zach is the sweetest and absolutely adorable he didn't deserve any of what happened to him and the fallout has been intense for him. It has taken a whole lot of courage to even give Shane a chance to prove that not all guys are like that. I love that he is up to the challenge and has so much love and patience that he would wait for Zach to be ready for more without pressure and showing absolute love. In the middle of all of their interactions they have to help fight the homophobic people who want ruin a special night for the teens of the town.

Another great installment to the Men of Hidden Creek. Zach, so insecure with low self esteem after the relationship and breakup he experienced with his ex. Shane is bi but closeted until some of his brave students come out. They are introduced through friends of Zach who have a sister in Shane's class. But Zach freaks thinking it is too soon and slots Shane into the friend box. Shane soon needs Zach's help as a journalist to overcome the homophobic school board president and his archaic rules for the winter formal. The twonbecome closer and Zach let's down his guard, until his ex pokes his nose back in with some very cruel things to say and Zach runs. Can Shane win over Zach , can Zach overcome his past?

i was so happy to see Zach get his story!! Shane and Zach are an awesome couple, feeling the connection and possibilities and having to work through fear. Both men have experienced pain and loss and i think that their experiences have really made them better men.

Zach and Shane work together to create awareness and correct a wrong and i love how doing the right thing allowed each of them to really see the others heart.

Treat yourself to this wonderful read! You will be glad that you did!

A heartwarming story about standing up for what’s right and finding the love you deserve along the way!

I loved this story! Its so sweet, yet powerful and brings about a message of strength and that it’s ok to stand up for what is right. It took the strength of one teacher to help a group of bullied, misgendered, LGBTQ kids fight for their rights and help change a town along the way.

This story was very touching and while it is a romance I felt that Blake balanced the romance well with the core issue of LGBTQ youth rights. I found agender Jesse and lesbian Millie very powerful secondary characters and was rooting for them throughout this story. Parts of their story also saddened me to think that this could very well be a true story. Just because someone is different doesn’t make them lesser. We need to cherish the next generation and lead by example.

All in all this was a great story with wonderful characters and a wonderfully cheesy HEA!

Extra Note: This story also had elements of emotional abuse within a relationship. I urge people to note this (perhaps before reading), and know that emotional and verbal abuse is still abuse and to seek help within your local community, country or online if every you are abused.

Zach finally gets his HEA

I don’t think anyone who reads this book will come away from it without wanting to say a few choice words to Noah!! What he does to Zach and how it affects his life is so very real and it’s so very hard to watch Zach be in so much pain. When he and Shane go on a blind date it becomes obvious there is an attraction them but it took such a lot for Zach to trust his heart to someone else again. I felt for Shane at times because of all Zach’s insecurities and I just wanted Shane to get his well deserved chance at happiness, but the story wouldn’t have felt real if everything was ok between them instantly.

I also loved the second storyline of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights for the teens in the town. It was a good reminder of why it’s important we fight for these rights so children of the future have less discrimination to face.

A great book with a lovely romance between two amazing men. Definitely one of my favourites of this season of
Hidden Creek.

After reading about Zach in Season 2, I wanted him to have his own HEA. He truly needed it and deserved it.

I could NOT have asked for a better man than Shane for him. These 2 men help each other against all their doubt. Alone these 2 were riddled with self doubt about their choices from the past and what they are doing now in terms of life.

When they are together nothing but uplifting occurs....well except when Noah makes an appearance (that man should have been killed in Mettle with the explosions Max created). I love how involved the teens were in this story and showed us that sometimes young people actually know more than us, see more than us and sometimes even teach us some much needed life lessons.
