I give Melt Me by Emma Nichols five stars. This book one of the Draco Family Duet series. Like all of Emma’s other books this is very well written. I was so excited when I found out that Emma was finally writing a paranormal book and not just one but TWO!
Blaise Draco is a single billionaire whom has lived for hundreds of years and has never found his mate and one true love. Instead of searching for love he decides to put his time in energy into the computer side of his security business. Trying to look to expand the computer side he decides to go to the Silicon Valley Expo knowing that he is going to have to fight off attention from woman the whole time. To his surprise there is one woman that seems to be immune to him and this takes him by surprise.
Maggie Wallace has had to put her life on hold to take care of her father after her mother passes away. Her father is a very smart computer guy but he has no idea how to take care of himself, he is very absentminded. They are on their way to Silicon Valley Expo to try and sell his new software program. Right in the middle of a potential sale, this arrogant rich guy decides to make a comment which in turn screws up the sale and Maggie loses all hope at this point.
When Blaise must step in to help Maggie and her father he becomes very intrigued by her. Will Blaise and Maggie have a connection or will they continue to butt heads? You must read the book to find out what happens!
This book was a very quick read! I had a hard time putting it down and cannot wait to read the second book. There is a little violence in the book and a little bit of sex, nothing to bad and I feel everything was tastefully written. This book is a must read!
“Drunks and toddlers required the same amount of supervision. And when they were quiet, they were probably getting into trouble.”
