Melynda Beth Andrews writes historical romance set during the English Regency, the time of Jane Austen. Her first published novel was a finalist for a Golden Heart Award from the Romance Writers of America. Her work has been nominated for a National Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Regency of the Year and reached #1 on the Top 100 Regency Romance Bestsellers list on Amazon. Her Regency Matchmakers Series spent a combined 24 months on Amazon's Top 100 Bestsellers lists. Critics have declared her work “delightful,” “a rare treat,” and “wickedly entertaining."
Andrews writes that she grew up in rural Florida, "running happily dirty and barefoot through the wild" and now lives with her husband and children in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of Washington State in the United States. She describes herself as highly experiential, having tried everything from flying a plane to whitewater rafting to diving. She enjoys adventure travel, reading, painting, sculpting, and learning new musical instruments--most recently, the ukelele.
